Id have to say by far the most important thing this video taught me is to bring a fire starter. The rest is basic info that you will know if you watch the discovery channel on a regular basis but it was still helpful. Making fire out of two sticks is grueling work and ive tried many times with futile efforts. Me and my friends just wanted to see if we could do it and after searching online videos for help we still couldnt.

@w1ldyovvnz He's probably only wearing socks. I'm reading his "98.6" book right now. He's usually barefoot most times, but wears about three pairs of wool socks (increasing in thickness and size from inner to outer) in the snow.

Things I always have (unless I have jury duty and am stripped of my constitutional rights) cell,lighter,at least 2 flash lights, knife, folding pliers aka leatherman, calculator,2 tiny pens in wallet, usually carry a flint like in the video, in my hand I tote a 44 oz cup cleaned that day topped with ice and tea or water, Never leave home without the water even if you keep it in the car you will use it never fails you will save $2 a day this way$730 a year.$14,600 20years= a few decent used cars

19leaon73, I´m actually Brazilian, but I got family in the States and even got the old glory hanging on my bedroom wall!! I am a survivalist too! I got some experience in the jungle and i´ll go to Arizona to train with Cody too. I already do trainning with Dave Canterbury, by the VPFC! They are my main references regarding survival and if they could get a show of their own it would be THEE best one on survival ever!!

Agreed, what looks easy or sounds easy doesn't mean it is, a few of us for instance will have seen brick layers and thought ' I can do that' but when you come to actually build that garden wall the reality can be very different from what you thought you could do and what you can actually do!

Cody is a true survivalist . He teaches a lot of how the aboriginals used to live and hunt of the lands. Just goes to show how someone out in the wilderness could survive just in shorts if they had to . I still think that I might be a dead man out in shorts but still a great video . He walks barefeet everywhere ! Thats what anccient people did all around the world, and thats how he likes doing! It´s great!
