  • a man who got a girl knocked up has no business talking about PICKIN SPOTS.

  • Richard Pryor the king of comedians just sits there and lets and old White guy put him in his place... sad.

  • Pryor rules. I'm glad he chuckled at Milton Berle's dull, self-serious story about paying for some twat's abortion. Berle was a joke stealing transvestite anyway. Fuck him.

  • Milton Berle sure put Richard Pryor in his place!!! I've never seen someone put down that way on national television.

  • @lgadwords put him in his place? uncle miltie, like so many from that era (i'm thinking of jerry lewis at the moment) never understood that comedy and tragedy are two sides of the same coin. when they tried to be serious as in this instance they'd omit all traces of humor and self parody, which made them sound more like embittered old curmudgeons than comedians. pryor was opposite, which is why he made the bogart reference. he used the tragedies in his life as material for his act

  • Hey - Crispin Glover on Happy Days? That had to have been the final season. The show did run until 1984.

  • Milton should've said, "At leas' my mother wasn't a whore!"

  • Hey, he [Richard Pryor] got it back. Richard once said, "Someone lighted a match and asked, "What's that?" and someone answered, "Richard Pryor running down the street." Years later, Richard died a very, painful, slow death! Be careful when you're ignorant, 'cause that bitch'll turn around on you.

  • @Arthro92 both pryor and berle could be assholes in their personal lives. big difference is that pryor integrated his personal problems into his act and used tragedy as the basis for his comedy, berle and many of his contemporaries wrongly assumed that tragedy and comedy were opposites--which is why much of the comedy from that era seems irrelevant, phoney and dated these days. milton sounds like a self important asshole here because that's who he truly was sans the "act"

  • abortions arent funny... until you dress them like little sailors...

  • pick your spots baby.

  • which interview was that from

  • Richard Pryor was wrong. That was very rude:(

  • Milton was talking about a girlfriend having an abortion and Richard giggled. Milton should have smacked him in the head. I think Richard was all talk and his skinning ass couldn't fight worth a shit.

  • @neomax117 fight? who gives a shit you child

  • @unfortunatebeam that is the best you have? Sounds like you are projecting your own childish mindset. Grow up.

  • @neomax117 nah, I'm too tall as it is.

  • @unfortunatebeam very well and have a pleasant day

  • "Pick ya spots, baby" A nicer way of saying "Watch ya back, niggra."

  • Was Milton Berle trying to act tough there? What the hell was that, does he think he is the bad guy from No Country For Old Men?

  • "What's the most you've ever lost on a coin toss, Pryor? Call it!"

    "Pick your spots, Friendo"

  • love Richard

  • the midgets at 0:17 are hilarious

  • can anyone tell me the film at 0.47 please?

  • milton berle is a fucking bitch

  • well, Richard WAS laughing while Milton was telling a story that really wasn't funny

it WAS kind of rude, he should have held it back, at least until he was out of sight of Richard

it's like if you were talking about your mother dying or something, and some jackoff who is sitting near by starts laughing, what would you think/do?

  • @sgtpepper1138 I would say "yeah you're right it is pretty funny isn't it haha!". Hey what if your mom beat you and was a cruel bitch? Then you might find it a geefull occasion that she's dying lol.

  • @unfortunatebeam So you're saying RIchard was in the right in that situation??

  • @sgtpepper1138 p.s. I meant out of sight of Milton.

  • @sgtpepper1138 he wasn't talking about a dead mother.

  • 1:18 rules
