he died so easily.sasuke beat him so fast unlike many strong character who are so nearly to kill sasuke such as deidara,zabuza,killer bee and even kakashi in latest manga eposide,he couldnot even complete 1 minute against sasuke(unlike jiraya who spend long time fighting his old student pain) ...in the end i think he is weak and the sannin title he should not deserved......

One Orochimaru wasn't trying to kill sasuke but take over his body theres a big difference and sasuske was able to contor the jusu he used to take over his body and if he was at full strengh with his sword using edotensei to control the 1st and 2nd hokarga going for the kill sasuke wouldn't stand a chance. Two he was weakoned because he needed a new body. Three he can't be killed by conventional means, itatchi couldn't even kill him just trap him in eternal Genjutsu.
