I disagree with you. Why do you think it's a hoax? Think about who convinced you of this (a big media company with corporate sponsors?) and think of who is obviously concered about climate change (the poor, development groups like christian aid, the red cross and environmental groups). I studied a science subject and the idea that a large part of the scientific community is morrally corrupt seems not only implausible but insulting.

As for climate gate the emails, in context are hardly very interesting, nor representative of a whole field of science--they involved perhaps 30 climate scientists.
Just because you dont like tax dosent mean that the issue isn't real. It just means a debate is needed on how we reduce emissions fairly.
