As I understand it, the instrumental is called :San Antonio Rose and then when the words were added to the song it was called "San Antonio Rose # 2".I call it what you and most people do---San Antonio Rose singing or not.

I think the one one with words was originally called the "New San Antonio Rose". They really streached to come up with that title.
