  • i cannot make this, tried 4 times now it each time its failed D: so i ended up with 90 snowballs instead of a flower:(

  • @kakeybabey

You may wish to watch the tutorial from miijauw channel. This is where I learnt to make this Revealed Flower. Thanks for watching :-)

  • i cant make my little projectiles to fit perfectly together.

  • Is there any way to do this with less squares?

  • @TheCraftingMusician

I do not think you can achieve it with less squares. Thanks for watching :-)

  • Disculpa ¿que medida tienen los cuadritos de papel?

  • @mrgorea2

You can use any square paper. Big square for bigger model and smaller ones for smaller model. I would recommend you use at least 6 or 7 cm square. Thanks for watching :-)

  • i couldnt keep up! next time maby dont fast forward!

  • @MikiMorgan101

Because of time constraint (YT only allows 10 mins clip to be uploaded) I have to make it a little faster. Thank you for your valuable feedback.

  • @ireneblchua the speed of the video was no problem for me :/

i perfectly understood everything, nice video and much thanks for uploading it (:

  • @doomleaf

    Thanks for your support :-)

  • @MikiMorgan101 I made a slower tutorial for the piece

  • this is not origami cuz you used glue

  • @thecashy1134 Everyone knows it -_-

  • @thecashy1134 it is origami, but she used glue to make it easier, there are other videos of the same process to make the same model without glue, and its more difficult

  • Thank you so much! I sit nearly 10-11 hours but it was soooo worth it. I'm usually absolutely clumsy with small things, especially handicrafts. But I saw your tutorials and I tried. Now I'm so proud of myself and I wanted to thank you big time for your great turorial.

Now I will definitely dream the whole night about making pieces and stick them together ;D

  • @Crashando

Congrats!! Am happy to know you have succeeded in making the Revealed Flower from following my tutorial. Thanks for watching :-)

  • thank you! love the video! its very clean and precise :)

  • @ourworldloversforev

Thanks for watching and for your kind comment. Most appreciated :-)

  • can i use elmer's glue? :) please write back :P

  • Yes you can use the Elmer's glue stick for craft. Thank you for watching :-)

  • could u use smaller paper??

  • can i use any square sized paper??

  • @xXPRONiNjAzXx

In the demo I used 7cm square...If you use smaller square you will get smaller model and if you use larger square you will get bigger model :-)

  • can u make one but with less paper??

  • @j3rry619

No, you have to use 90 square pieces altogether to make this model :-)

  • does it matter what glue we use

  • @jedikevin97

No, I do not think it matter as long as you feel comfortable with it :-)

  • hey i finished it .. but it took really long .. cause of the glue that i used .. white glue . so i was wondering what kind of glue to use for when i do my next one ...

  • @MrStarsandMrsCandy

Great job on finishing the model. I took 6 hrs to cut, fold and complete the model...it's tedious but the end product is satisfying.. I used Uhu glue but I suppose it does not matter what type of glue you use :-)

  • this blowned my head open

  • What song did you use?

  • @RhinosInSnow

    Mozart's Piano Sonata K545 2nd mvt.

  • Do i need paper thats colored on both sides, or can i use one thats only colored on one side?

  • @V3R1fication

It's up to your own preference whether you want to use paper that's coloured on both sides or just one side. Happy folding :-)

  • Can you use more than two colours? I want to use blue red green and orange. Please let me know.

  • @maharial

Yes, it's up to your own imagination how many colours you would like to use :-)

  • I am definitely going to try this one :D It's so cool ^_^

  • @LadyTakamariJiynx

Thanks for watching. Happy folding :-)

  • can you use tape?

  • @katesmart100

You can but it may look unsightly :(

  • lets see... 5 a4 papers=60 7 cm squares, 2.5 a4 papers=30 7 cm squares, 7.5 a4 papers=90 7 cm squares, well thats almost the papers it took me to fold a giant flasher big bang

  • @mohammag

Yes you need many pieces of paper, time and patience to make this model. Happy folding :-)

  • Half way through i was like "Rip it, rip it, RIP IT !!!" But, I didn't rip it !!!!

  • @thelaurinator5000

Thank you for watching. Unfortunately this model needs glue to secure it otherwise the pieces will fall apart when it is opened up :-(

  • oh my... that's gonna takes me more than a lunch time...

  • @bela9365

It took me 6 hrs including cutting and folding the 90 individual units to make the complete model!!

  • at 3:03 thats what the piece looks like but it wont stay closed.

  • @pufflepenguin7

I have reviewed my video at 3:03. When you apply glue and insert the orange unit into the yellow ones it should hold and stay as shown.

  • for some reason, when i make the pieces they wont stay closed. whats wrong?

  • @pufflepenguin7

Sori, I didn't understand your question. At which point the pieces would not stay closed?

  • oh ok. thank you

  • how many pieces would i use if i am using 5cm?

  • @pufflepenguin7

Irregardless of what size of paper you use, you will need 90 square pieces. Please see my response to @TheLaLouNette. Thank you & happy folding.

  • how many pieces would i use if i am using 5cm paper?

  • @pufflepenguin7

    the same number of corse

  • @ireneblchua cool :) and np, now to go and attempt this one :D

  • @khmerOne303

All the best. Happy folding :-)

  • is it even possible to make it without glue? haha

  • Thank you very much :)

  • @TheLaLiLouNette

You are welcome. Hope you enjoy making it :-)

  • If i'm making it with 16cm for a square, how much pieces i'll have to use ?

    Or maybe I can use 14cm ?

  • @TheLaLiLouNette

The model in the video is made from 7 cm square paper. If you use 14 cm square paper it would be double the size of what is shown in the tutorial. Happy folding :-)

  • I cannot understand how you manage to make 12 units comprising 5 folded pieces each with only 30 pieces.. Shouldn't you need 60 :/ ?

Sorry, can you help me please ?

  • @TheLaLiLouNette

You need altogether 90 square pieces, 60 sq pcs yellow (inside) and 30 sq pcs orange (outside). 12 units of 5 folded pcs as shown in the demo (yellow) are made up of 60 pcs, ie for the inside. You will need another 30 pcs (orange) for the outside to make the complete model. Please watch the video at 0.33 which shows the number of units required. Because of time restriction by YT, this tutorial is made in 2 parts. Hope this clarifies and thanks for watching :-)

  • you can make a model with 15 sheets of paper, make 2 regular units and connect them with 5 "connecter peices"

  • hi thank you for sharing its really cool now im starting:)

  • I am going to try to give it a try. You make it look so easy, as usual. Thanks for being so kind and putting up all of the helpful videos. I am so addicted to origami, but it's a good thing. I will let you know how it turned out. I'm still trying to figure out the handbell flower 1. have a good day.

  • Thank you for your kind comments. Much appreciated :)

  • Nice work! I am not skilled with crafts, so I have great admiration and sympathy for people like you! congrats!
