The shot was taking in the water. The video quality is good but the conditions that day where hazy sorry about that. The video camera being attached to the gun was an experiment and the video kinda sucks. My new camera is mounted to my head and the videos are ten times better. But since I changed the set up this year the season has been the worst in 5 years. I am going to Hawaii in 5 days and I will post new videos check them out in about 3 weeks.
Using a breakaway is crucial on any good size fish. Use a regular spear tip and figure out the hard way. Especially on Halibut. Using breakaway spear tips also will help not bend the shaft.
