I wonder what Khadijah, Mohammed's first wife's religion was before she married Mohammed? There is too much inconsistencies in the writings and when you ask any muslim for clarification most even differ on answers. The only conversations I can get is Bible bashing which is so rehearsed by those muslim clerics teachers that now the rebuttals seem so false and brainwashed. Really Mohammed fell short of knowing the Spiritual Nature of God, which in itself tells one that God didn't choose him.

@elmirasahar the punishment for adultery is mentioned in sura24:2 for non married couple. as for married couple their punishment is stonned to death. there is an ayah called ayah al rajm. i dont know the number but there are hadiths that prove that who commit adultery when married is to be stonned.

@bozzeed Gladly, to begin with stoning is a Jewish practice. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) condemned it, and referred to it as "barbaric". In the Quran it does not specify exactly what the punishment is, all it says is. "Nor come nigh to adultery: for it is a shameful (deed) and an evil, opening road(to other evils)" [Quran, 17:32]. I did hear about "slashing" in the Hadith, but for that to happen there needs to be 4 witnesses, and if they repent, they are free to go. I hope i helped.

I wonder what Khadijah, Mohammed's first wife's religion was before she married Mohammed? There is too much inconsistencies in the writings and when you ask any muslim for clarification most even differ on answers. For start. all the so called peaceful verses were written in Mohammeds time in Mecca, the violent verses were written in Mohammeds time in Medina. Now there's verse 2.106 that tells that later verses replace the earlier verses. Now the cruel verses and the verses when your Mohammed gathered a army, were written in the time of Medina. Those seem to be superior to the one that muslims call peaceful. Than there's Taqyyah for muslims.

@bozzeed Gladly, to begin with stoning is a Jewish practice. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) condemned it, and referred to it as "barbaric". In the Quran it does not specify exactly what the punishment is, all it says is. "Nor come nigh to adultery: for it is a shameful (deed) and an evil, opening road(to other evils)" [Quran, 17:32]. I did hear about "slashing" in the Hadith, but for that to happen there needs to be 4 witnesses, and if they repent, they are free to go. I hope i helped.

Historical records however show that Alexander the Great died young at 33 years of age (b. 356 B.C. - d. 323 B.C.), and believed he was divine, forcing others to recognize him as such. In India on the Hyphasis River (now Beas) Alexander erected twelve altars to twelve Olympian gods. The Quran shows errors in historical and religious fact.

@bozzeed According to the Quran (Surah 20:90-100)a Samaritan helped the Israelites build the golden calf, and it mooed after coming out of the fire. In reality, Samaritans did not exist as a people until at least 1000 years after the time of the Moses and the Israelite exodus from Egypt. Again a problem of historical compression.

@bozzeed ALSO at Surah 19:28, 3:33-36) the Quran says that Mary, the mother of Jesus, was the daughter of Imran or Amram, the father of Moses and Aaron. Mary is also said to be the sister of Moses and Aaron. Clearly Muhammad confused Mary with Miriam

@bozzeed You do know that Moses supposedly wrote the Laws of the OT given by his god (by the way the same god you follow) and Jesus followed his peoples traditions since he was a jew but muslims do not practice the Jewish laws given by one of the jewish gods ( and your god since you worship the jewish god). Its funny how muhammed took Jewish beliefs and claimed them for his own adding his own twist to an already established religon.

By the way I have been to your country and Qatar and Baharain when I was in the Army stationed during the second gulf war I saw some of the remants also of the first gulf war when Iraq invaded your country but I was not there when the U.S forces drove out the Iraqis in 1991.
