  • I like to cut aluminum cans with my regular scissors to sharpen them ;)

  • Boring! I am an bad-ass American. I just keep the cans in the bag and get paid. i most found it from yards, trash, bins and some of my family and friends keep them as a group. We get about 8-10 pounds of Aluminum every 2-3 weeks. thats about around 300 cans.

  • @davidlee110 i do that to

  • Here's my idea for recycling; Throw it all in the trash. If you think you're helping the enviornment, go to a local recycling factory. You're not doing anything but tooting your own horn. Trash goes in the Trash.

  • Those are aluminum cans not tin cans.

  • DAmn is that typical American prolonged voize annoying or what gees... and you're cutting your caaaaans and beeeng careful not to slit your throaaaaaaat, and the pretty threeeeeeee... Good project dough, but the voice is like FU lady

  • I thought that was a guy the whole time o.O

  • Used this to make my own mirrors for my bar. Inexpensive and fun. Thank You.

  • Nice work!! We have a page where we select this kind of work: DI∆ Remake. This is a page for people who like to remake products like cans. Maybe you are interested in posting your work on it or just take a look.

  • Great idea!! Thanks for sharing..

  • @RebelSimplicity it s fucking blonde idea dumbass.

  • use a can opener to open the top of the can and then cut it, much easier !

  • Wow are you on like cable tv yet , if not you should be

  • COOL!

  • You two are fun to watch - and your frame is excellent!

  • please check out my video :) it also talks much about the garbage issue.

  • I have found that you can use a can opener to cut off the top of an aluminum can. Then I use kitchen scissors to cut a slice to the bottom and turn the can and cut along the bottom. This gives the maximum amount of sheet aluminum.

  • how do you smooth the edges of ur cuts?

  • Great! Only you keep saying "tin" cans. They're ALUMINUM cans, dear. I know, I know, I know .... I don't want to sound critical, but it was just one of those little things that kinda bothered me. By the way, I'd love to kiss those lips of yours!

  • Great idea, great stuff! I'm going to see if I can find all the cans I need in the communal recycle bins.

  • Great idea! One question though, did you buy these drinks for the cans or did you get the cans from the garbage?

  • Do those pieces of tin overlap or butt?

  • Hey Barbara!

Thanks for subscribing. On this project we overlapped them slightly.

  • This is pretyy great! thanks!

  • I've seen these out and about, very cool! Great upcycling project.

  • Thanks for sharing this idea!!! I can't wait to try it.

  • Hey Cali!

Thanks for stopping by Happy Auer. Take a pic and let us know how it comes out. One person emailed they made one with Pabst Blue Ribbon cans...

  • Wow, this is great!

Ive never thought of anything like this and the frame gives it a personal touch. It sure beats the plain old wooden surrounding. Thanks. Ima try it soon.

    ::)

  • Love it!

  • Great idea! Thanks for the video!

  • Ohh I think my hubby would like one with beer cans. Preferably Pabst blue ribbon. Thanks for the post.
