Snapper was still a great wave, when it was good it used to break all the way thru to Rainbow Bay anyway. Then the Greenmount headland to Cooly section still got epic. And Kirra - was perfection...... All the waves were still there, they just broke in sections. Often when Kirra was firing, you could still get waves to yourself just before the cooly section, and down at little groyne kirra. Bring back KIRRA, I doubt you would find too many people that surfed Kirra then and would argue.
