  • I notice you are using fairly heavy duty wire, have you found this successful over time ? I am about to begin using my unit in the car / from the bench, though my electrical knowlage is slight hence asking

    thom in scotland.

  • you try distilled water? I notice your water has some nasty stuff in it, I used to get green water from copper in the house lines, brown is iron or minerals...

I tryed distilled water, and Lye for electrolyte, you might like the fact you can adjust the amperage up by adding more Lye, could be a great way to solve that high amperage issue :-)

  • how did you get the plates so close together?

  • I think you might find what I am going to share very interesting, to upgrade your stainless plates to plates that wont oxidize and give you much beter conductivity, you might try copper plates, first electroplated nickal then gold plated, a good layer of each, were you have your connections I recomend touching all copper, stainless is 8.6 conductivity, copper is a big 230 just emagine the hho increased hho! you want to also coat all the internal connections! thanks God Bless h 2 1 o . c o m

  • Silver would be even better. Try silver coated/plated plates and boost the voltage with a capacitor x 4 and see if the gas does increase and the amps goes down.

  • You can purchase a capacitor from ebay for shocking fish which hooks to a 12V battery but puts out 1000's of volts. This device cost only $50 to $100 and is easily found and wired up. I haven't personally tryed it but it has to work by laws of Electricity.

  • BULL

    SHIT

  • Have you or has anyone tried using a compacitor in series to boost voltage and reduce the amps? You could boost 12vdc to say 250 or more and cut the amps in 1/4 could you not! Then you could add more cells to product more gas.

  • I have been trying to find out if increasing the voltage to 20,000 using a coil would produce more HHo gas while reducing the amps. even though My HHO generator produces a very good supply of HHO gas it pulls almost 50 amps. I at this time found any info on this topic. Can anyone?

  • 20,000 volts would be totally useless, the only thing that matters is current. In fact, anything over about 2.2 volts is just burned off as heat. You want 2.2 volts per plate gap for optimal production. At 12 volts, this means 5 neutral plates between positive/negative plates. Each gap produces the same amount of gas that you'll get off of a single +- direct gap with same amperage and far less heat too.

  • Listen to IdRatherBeCubing. He has a clue. The voltage has to do with the chemical process. You cannot just crank the voltage way up. It is wasted. You need more surface area, more efficient liquid or more cells. That's it.

  • 1) this is not an Hydrogen cell

    2) an Amp meter does not produce a voltage drop

  • Nice videos, like your configuration with yout pvc box and your HHO meter. I can't seem to find clear tubing like you hho meter. Went to lowes and home depot, even tried a fastener place, they all have no clue. Would you happen to know where I can find tubing like that?

  • yeah man 12 gauge is only good for 20 amps you should really get a code book and read up. try using less electrolite your amps will drop your amps are related to this. also use a clamp meter this way it inducts the current not hindering your preformance. your wire size you have is really over kill all your doing is reducing voltage drop witch is not a concern with your power source less then 10 ft away. 10 gauge is good for 30 amps 8 gauge is around 40. drawing 40 amps should produce big # later

  • ok first there is no real advantage to 4 gauge wire exhept to reduce voltage drop witch is not a concern because your power source is so close you could have used only 10 guage. your meter will have little to no effect on your curcuit because it works from induction. you are doing a great job. just thought id help a bit. use a clamp meter on your positive side of your lead out of your opti batt. i like the electrical pvc box nice touch. looks great

  • i have made a cell just about the same as the one you have here but i not get the output you are getting can you help me get mine to produce more? thanks

  • that's about 40secs

  • what is this? a joe cell? a stanley myer fuel cell? do you think it will make your car more efficient or is it just an experiment to make some hydrogen?

  • my post never worked, i'll just find the right page and post there, it has to do with the meyers resonant circuit you posted + approx mpg gains using these current methods.

  • I'd like to do something similar capable of handling 5000kw/h and storing the hydrogen for about 12 hours a day then burning it at night. Please let me know if you are interested.

  • What is you plate config? +-+-?

  • LOL!!! You don't need that much water nor that many Amps!! Use a Large reservoir feeding a small decomposing chamber. With less than 4 ounces RO filtered H20 and less than 2 amps. You must have the correct ratio (balance) of cell area to water area. The polarity area spacing must be constant and very close to one another, less than 1mm. For GOD sake man LOWER those freaking AMPS! Ever hear of a Global Energy Crisis?! Nice try, but try again for efficiency.

  • where did you get the cell housing(Box from) at and does it have any leaks do let me know so I can build my.Thanks

  • this is an pvc electrical juntion box available at any electrical wholesaler or canadian tire or equivelent

  • love it!

  • gozarca2, yes and we still have nuclear reactors and bombs and big oil to boot. Plus theres mercury in the ocean and salt even. Just don't drink it, recycle it. I have a bunch of nicads that I sure as hell don't want in our streams and rivers. Most people toss em. Don't mean to sound real, but who are you kidding?

  • When you use stainless steel, you produce hydrogen gas (H2), oxygen gas (O2) and HEXAVALIENT CHROMIUM (aka Erin Brokavich's claim to fame). This stuff is a VERY nasty heavy toxic metal. 1ppm in drinking water is unsafe. I'm concerned people are building these things and dumping the waste down the drain, saying they "beat big oil and big oil is conspiring to keep this solution quiet".

VERY BAD STUFF! They don't put these things in cars for a reason.

  • 1 Litre a minute.

    Very good.

  • where did you get the cell housing at and does it have any leaks

  • Can you share the plate config inside the cell. Like demensions etc.. Is the current config just NEG and POS plates or do you have Neutrals mixed in. Also are you adding baking soda as well to bring up the AMPS quickly to produce that much gas.

    Thanks,

    Bob

  • I had a "measuring device" but the police took it from me with the bag of hh cronic...lol

  • Yo do you know what causes the brown stuff.... I heard that its dangerous or toxic or something... is that true?... I get that sometimes, sometimes my generator pumps super clean bubbles... Don't know what causes it though. somebody put me on to the science!

  • The brown stuff is the electrolyte reacting witht the metals in the cell. Using high quality stainless steel (316L) is recommended for ALL components in the electrolyzer. Also, keep in mind that using Sodium Bicarbonate (baking soda) in the electrolyzer will produce Carbon Monoxide Gas, better to choose a different electrolyte, Try Distilled (5%) Vinegar.

  • The electrolyte I use is Lye (Caustic soda (Drain cleaner))

  • how did u make the cell what did u use

  • has any body seen an ampere meter anyware between the battery and the cell? the battery is giving current that is not measured also the charger is trying to compensate hence the total current is over 4o amps I would say 60 or 70 who knows?

  • My home made unit gives off simlar results (1 litre / minute) at 12 volts 7 amps

  • How many plates do you use?

And what is your plate Config? (- nnn + etc)

  • some of you people crack me up it works end of story seen and tested

just make one for yourself not that hard

  • Question: did the same size unit as you did with twenty plates , but the wires get really hot what can i do?????? Help

  • increase wire size,.check AWG wire table, #12 for 20Amp, #10 for 30 Amp, #8 for 40 Amp, #6 for 50 amp, #4 for 60to 70 amp, just search the internet for awg table,

since these systems still are in experimental stages and mostly are being done by nonexpert, you should always use higher tickness wire as you dont know how much current it will draw from your power source.

  • 1l in 30 second not one min

  • You are going to put that into your car? and then? Have huge battieries that drives this and then burn the HHO in the normal combustion engine?

  • I'm pretty sure that you would install this device under your hood running off your existing battery, and you inject the hho into the air intake as close to the carb as possible. It will increase the efficiency of the gasoline burning engine by at least 300% so now 20 bucks of gas will take you 3 times farther, and 1 liter of water becomes 1800+ liters of HHO! WOW! bring it on!!

  • EHm... did you think this through? An normal car alternator/generator is rated for 70 amps. If you remove these 40 A, there will be not so much room left for electrics and light. Sure if you ad a larger alternator... I don't follow your 1 l water -> 1800 l of HydroOxygen? and how will it increase the efficiency? all the oxygen added are taken up by the double amount of hydrogen, and is combusted. Besides you have to take the probability of increased corrosion in the complete system!

  • well johan --boet - lights in a normal car pull about 260 watts ....unless you got your aircon & 10000 watt sterio on ! Problem with drawing this much wattage relates to lenz's law .... yes i'd say 1800 litres is about right from 1 litre of water ...3rd part ...hydrogen has a cooling effect in your motor enabling you to run leaner ...hence the EFIE ... 4th corrosion ??? every seen water running out your exhaust, do you think burning hydrogens going to make a vast difference?

  • Why do hydrogen have a cooling effect? As I see it the hydrogen will have a minimum temp of the water source, prob. higher because of friction of electrolysis... I think you associate the "endoth depressuring of pressuriese

  • Damnit!! ...Associate the "endothermic" properties of depressuring pressurized hydrogen gas. Which makes the gas cold!

  • Either way. For this configure being for any use, it have to produce more energy (what you get in additional/marginal mechanical energy) than what it takes to divide the H20 into H2 and 0 (~12V x 40 A = 480 Watts!!!!). You see. The energy it takes to drive this apparatus have to come from somewhere. If you connect it to your alternator of the car, the engine will have to work harder = consume more fuel. If the energy input is larger than output, you are "burning (money) for the crows"

  • You see. You can not Create energy! So this hyped "alternative energy" / "HHO" is only in some good use for energy storage! If he is able to build a solarpanel set that delivers the adequate energy needed to run this system, then you are really in for something.

  • where did you get ''300 % '' from ???? ....I love to see that! I know how the HHO sysytem works but 300% --that a croc ...

  • Sorry, you are not going to get 300% increase but you should easily get 25% or more

  • Hey someone else hooked a vacaum on his and it dropped the amperae quite a bit, you may want to try that.

  • 6969.*****++GooD-LuCK WiTH THaT++*****.9696

  • how did you get it water tight were the bolts were?

  • high temp gasket seal

  • sirhoax, where did you get the long clear tubings? any help is appreciated. You are doing a great work and helping with others becoming interested in the subject of HH-O. Thanks.

  • All the tubing, fittings, electrical box it's all in, plumbing parts, SS plates, screws, spacers washers, etc can be gotten at Lowes, Home Depot, Builder's Square, etc although I'm getting better SS and nylon harware at Fastenal now and lower priced.

  • I see everyone using switch plates as the anode (+)& cathode (-) (& neutral). They make great designs, but are usually 302 stainless, not 316. I could be wrong about this, but that's why I'm posting it.

There's more iron in 302 than 316. The electrolysis process produces oxygen at the(+). This oxidizes the available iron creating rust. That's the dirt in the brown water. I believe you can use the 302 or 304 as the (-), but not the(+). Not sure about neutral cells. Thoughts?

  • The Cooper plates at Lowes are marked 304 SS and my cells produced iron muck only on the initial run then after a cold water wash and new electrolyte all ran nearly clear, slight yellowing with baking soda in tap water other than that things are fine. For $1.29 a plate I can deal with that over the additional cost of 316 SS.

  • i don't undestand how do you get the screws to touch some plates and not the others. do you use some plastic screws to hold the plates in place and then use other screws for electrical connections ?

  • i wish i had a lab at home like urs.

  • Your video is great, I did chuckle at the

"working hard and diligent about keeping busy" comment. Sometimes it is better to not talk and let your video roll silently if you have nothing to say. Otherwise great stuff!!!

  • Oh, I have now connected into the alternator behind the diodes to draw out ac power. Also, my inverter setup was designed to run on 110 volts at 4 volts per cell using baking soda(aluminum engine safe) so it has 29 plates in it. I have now rewired it to work with 14 volts.

  • Very interesting concept indeed. Just curious what is the exact capacitor you used, or atleast a source where it can be found so I can experiment further.

    Regards, sirHOAX

  • TO prevent thermal run away use AC power with a capacitor inline to limit current, then rectify the ac to DC and you can then set your amp draw to what you want. I designed a cell for my car. It used a 110V inverter and went through a 80 uF can which passed 4 amps.

  • c mieux si tu nous monté comment tu la constru si tu veux qu'on arrête se massacrer qui et le co2 montre nous les plant et voir si sa marcher sur une voiture .merci

  • where did u get the container from or did u make it yourself

  • what are you using for the box and what bolts are you using i tried that with mine but my bolts are over heating

  • Putting an ampmeter in the circuit does not give you a voltage drop. OK maybe a portion of a millivolt but that is not even on the radar. I do like the amount of HHO your generating. Now to get the current dwon below 0.5A. That's what I'm working on.

  • That's going to be quite a task...

  • SWEEEEEET realy like that cell, your puting out almost enough to run a small mower engine on 100% HHO COOOL that is where i'm headed. Maybe a weed wacker with oil injection in the input stream. Any how keep up the good work.

  • Thanks for all the positive feedback gentlemen, it is greatly appreciated.

The enclosure tolerated heat exposure of 195°F.

This cell had a RECORD OUTPUT of a Liter per 22 Seconds @ 2 teaspoons of baking soda. That is almost 3 Liters per minute!!

If my figures are correct that would be 47.8ml per second, 2.87 Liters per minute, 172.2 Liters per hour.

The run-away effect, and high Amperage was an issue during that test, but outcome figures are otherwise factual.

    --HOAX

  • How many amps are you using?

  • Never mind got it thanks!

  • Very nice job with the enclosure.

  • pretty good !

  • Forgot to say, great output, even @ 40Amp. With PWM you will use about 6 - 10 AMP. Thanks again for posting. PWMPOWER

  • Interesting,

    So 0,5 liter in 30 seconds at 20 amps / 12 volts results in approximately 54% efficiency. 25amps would mean 43 %.

    regards

    Øystein
