@36pratham Sure; he's a great batsman. But he cripples under pressure. Most of his centuries are on good batting tracks in good batting conditions. The fact that he opens the innings gives him enough time to keep his innings stable. He takes too many balls in the middle to score his runs and take his score to the century and after getting his century leaves the team stranded.
In most the games where Sachin got a century India lost. Everybody knows that.

Dude- Sachin scored 48 centuries in ODI's- out of them 34 are winning ones!
NO other player has scored that many tons in either format of game!
He has grown old and his shoulder injury has restricted him from playing a few shots like hook,pull and still he is the only man to score 200* against SOuth AFrica-one of the best bowling units!

lols u saying this because of last match...against SA where he scored 111.. 1st tell me that what others are doing?
1st see the score when he got out india was 266 for just 1 wicket in 39... overs... when u have so many batting left and such a good score any will just try to hit every ball and in this process he got out...this is how cricket is played are u new to cricket....

he made the score that much that in 11 over india could had easily scored 330 with not even hitting single boundry and just by taking single singles.. india loose 9 wickets for 29 runs whats his fault?
it was his mistake that nehra was unfit? how many times u see team scoring 14 runs in last over when they are down with 7 wickets... what he can do in that?

his 1st 25 100s... india won 21 lost 4 which is better than aby batsman who scored 15+ 100s.... and even if u compare with rickey ponting
ponting 1st 30 100s... aus won 25 and lose 5
sachin 1st 30 100s india lost 24 won
now even with ponting siffrence of just 1 100.... now do u have any answer?
even if u see sachin 1st 36 100s indian won 30 lost 6 now can ponting do that?

lols than how come most of the time when he scored a century there is no other player to support him and score runs with him... he is one player who scored maximum times when other players failed and didnt even scored 50.... infact ponting gilchrist hayden ganguly jayasurya has most of the time scored 100 on flat track in good conditions...

to me pressure situation is when when a player scored runs when rest of other players failed.... scoring runs when rest of the player didnt even made 50, making runs when u lossing wickets at other end.....
and scoring in finals and knock out matches...... and he has done that max times compare to othe rplayers... he has record of maximum 100s in finals..... and india has won all finals..

sachin has strike rate of 90 while if u see after 2000 his strike rates in 100s is always.. 100+
i guess u knew to cricket u havnt seen era of 90s which known as bowlers era..... in that era he maintained that kind of strik rate....

@36pratham Bro in total Sachin has played 177 test matches and 453 ODIs. That's a total of 630 matches. Plus you can multiply 177 by two because those are test match innings. So Sachin must have batted in more than 700 International matches. His centuries are what? 98?
That is a 14% conversion ratio? Means he hasn't been consistent in his scoring. Sure he has a good average because he bats for himself, plays a knock for himself then throws the match on other players in the middle of the game.

@36pratham ... Players? Bradman, Viv Richards, Steve Waugh, Ricky Ponting, Macgrath, Wasim Akram, Imran Khan, Brain Lara .. there are loads of 'match winning' players who have had a lot of success in both forms of cricket who actually make a real impact in the game as compared to Tendulkar.

@36pratham those 48 odi 100s even that not sure... he had a great team with him and great bowlers still just avg 32 in odis and about test cricket.... he has 32 100s in in 168 matches... while sachin has 51 in 177 , so to reach those 51 it would had taken him atleast 300 tests and as his peak was over he was 38+ it would had taken him atleast 350 test matches lols....

in his whole carrier he just 2 times scored century when team is chasing 230+ and less than 290
and in one of them carl hoopar also scored century with him.....
lara is great in test and in league of sachin but far far behind in odis....

@JauntyMellifluous just tell me after the retirement of those great players how many matches has ponting won just 4 100s in last 4 years in both forms lols.... his batting avg in last 4 years is just 40 haha u comparing him with sachin .... while his batting avg was 58 in those period of 90s... when he use to play like lone warrior.... even at this age of 38and 22 years in cricket he is playing better than any othe rplayer....

@JauntyMellifluous those 48 odi 100s even that not sure... he had a great team with him and great bowlers still just avg 32 in odis and about test cricket.... he has 32 100s in in 168 matches... while sachin has 51 in 177 , so to reach those 51 it would had taken him atleast 300 tests and as his peak was over he was 38+ it would had taken him atleast 350 test matches lols....

wi indies won just 8
lost 14 and 12 draw.....
while out of sachin 51 100s..
