i already no how to play ive been playin for years n its fun basic concept of magic the gathering but this game is better it allows you to put more monsters and magic with traps instead of mana that takes up space the best way to win is to summon a high powered monster first but be prepared to protect it

@lazomba ingore the gdoddmeta3608 person, the reason it was tributed is so that if the opponent had a spell to destory the equip monster next turn they can avoid it by sending blue eyes back to the grave through the ritual summon. it's also to show how a ritual summon works since this was a teaching lesson :)

Can someone please tell me why didn't joey summoned baby dragon instead using pot of greed and then why didn't summoned the baby dragon after he summoned the black luster soldier?

if joey had summoned and attacked with baby dragon the computer would have still had 100 life points left. so when the computer used monster reborn to bring back the blue eyes white dragon the computer would have probably used blue eyes to attack baby dragon causing joey to lose life points.

joey still would have won if he destroyed blue eyes with black luster soldier and attacked with time wizard, just with fewer life points.

any card can be played face down, but magic cards normally can only be activated during your turn.

however if they have a quick-play icon under the name of the card they can be actived on your opponents turn. part 2 of this interactive duel tutorial covers this.

@shadowrazuko Lot's of reasons :p Blue eyes would be attached to the spell card and has that weakness to certain cards. Plus with a successful summon of Black Luster Soldier you can revive it later if needed.
