For a series that was made 20 years ago, the message of this episode couldn't be anymore relevent today. Modern technology doesn't make life any easier, rather it ends up becomming a tool for getting more done faster. Sure, survival in the wild can have rough spots, but you soon realize there isn't much to put your mind towards, that's why I've always enjoyed camping trips.
