@kelly2000398 Well, sort of. Unless you want to create your own circuit board, you could simply get a couple cheap USB controllers, and sotter the wires from the microswitches to the board of the controller.
do you have to use the mouse often, or can u use the joysticks and the buttons for most of the things u need to do on the computer? like when you start it up u have to use the mouse to enter the emulator? or does it start up automaticly or what? hehe ty
where do u put all the stuff when you're done with it? like how do u mount and connect the computer, the ipac, the wires, and the keyboard all in one cabinet?
@kingscross30 easy, the keyboard connects to the ipac then the ipac to the computer. ipac mimics the keyboard button presses using the arcade sticks and buttons.
Sure. You would plug the I-Pac into the computer's PS2 keyboard connection, but you wouldn't plug anything into the I-Pac. The computer would simply think that the I-Pac is a second keyboard along with your wireless one.
Hi! I'm an admirer of your work and I need your help. I've just bought an original MK2 cabinet just like this (yey I'm so happy!) but I need to ship it to my home and I really need to know its measures beforehand so I can be sure it would fit here. Would you be so kind to tell me its height depth and width? Thanks a lot from Argentina and keep up the good work!
Thansk for the useful info - playlisted the video alread. I just bought a MK3 jamma that I'm hoping to put into an MK2 cabinet - looks like its not going to be a simle "plug & play" type of thing :O jeez
the jpac only wires 3 buttons plus start. you have to use the screw connecters for the kick harness buttons. Im using the mini mac wich comes pre wired. that saved so much time money and guess work.
could i make my own ipac with like a keyboard or something?

does the i-pac come with the wiring? like the wiring to the buttons and the cables from i-pac to the computer? thanks
xxmatthewii 1 year ago
@xxmatthewii No. Only the unit itself and the PS2 cable to go to the computer's keyboard input.

Does the I-Pac still have the button locking issues that a normal keyboard has?
Like can both P1 and P2 as Sub both do slides at the same time?

Don't know. Haven't heard of anything like that. I'll check and let you know.
