After that, bring the game back up and start from that checkpoint. That way, no matter how many times you fail, you don't have to redo the whole mission.

If you keep failing after trying to get this achievement, you don't have to start the mission over. That is, if you have a USB flash drive, or any other extra memory unit on your console. Right after you rip the guy's mask off by the elevators, go to the the dashboard and copy your game save to another storage device. Then, play the game on the storage device you usually use. If you fail, just go back to the dashboard and copy the save you put on the other device back onto your regular device.

i was getting the MVP achievement, i was competing with this one dude on the enemy team, and i was entering you know one of the small walk tunnels inside the late tunnels in damavand peak, with the guy competing with me for the top, after me in a tank, and some friendly bitch ass camper blocked my way, so i couldn't get the half a meter left to cover and i got shot, the game ended, and failed the achievement!
