I just installed Dirt 2 for PC, and am having many issues. First, GFWL asks me to log in using an existing Windows Live id--so I do that.Then it says there is an update available,so I allow that. Then, I am asked log in again--and it keeps on looping back to the update.I can only get into the game by not logging in--auto save is disabled. And now after setting to higher res (supported by display) I have no picture--just black screen with voices, etc. I am downloading Patch 1_1.Any suggestions?

@DiGiTaLdAzEDM , you could try the following. deinstall dirt2. now install the latest gfwl or update it, next install dirt2 again and update it with the patch1_1. Now startup dirt2 and login.

@RallyGamer Thanks--it was a login issue. I had used GFWL a couple of years ago for GoW but forgot about that. It was auto listing my password which I didn't realize and so I was trying to create a new one. Your idea got me to go to the GFWL site and then I figured out what was going on and logged in properly. Then it updated with the full patch and the game is working properly now. Man, PC games can be a real headache to get working sometimes--lol.

@traxxcze1 you can actually drive all cars on all tracks. Here how it is done: go to DiRT TOUR then choose for example UTAH then choose TIME TRIAL. now you can choose every car class you want on all UTAH tracks. Btw this goes for all countries. Have fun racing...

@TheDutchGamers , if you refer to the livery then the answer is yes, on my website you can find currently about 155 new custom liveries of which about 59 made by me, you can find my cars under the name DiRT2game. btw there are also 6x dutch custom rally liveries and 1 dutch dakar livery.

how can you rotate the camera?

@tommy27usa , go to your control settings in the game, scroll down and then you can set the buttons to view the car from different directions while driving and in the replay.

@MCSpidah no, dx11 is just another reason for microsoft to make you buy a new operating system, there is no visual difference between the two whatsoever!

@MCSpidah , no i have dx10.1 so it probably uses the dx9 version but as bombhead says, you will not see much difference, the light and water is a little bit better but you drive so fast in this game you will not see the difference.

@juaniskates , no Dakar track in DiRT 2 , it is a trailblazer track, Hummer car is included in the game but i made it match the Robby Gordon Dakar 2010 car.
