@dest00790 Actually it had very little to do with castmates, more specifically Alyssa Milano as the press over-exaggerated. Shannen wanted to the show to be more serious and less comedious (sp). She didn't like the direction it was going but the no one else really cared either way, so she quit. Originally her character was just going to be recast, but they decided to replace her with a new character, a long lost sister, Paige (Rose McGowan)

This breaks my heart every time especially when tell Prue she loves her, and when she flat-lines I cried like a baby. Where was Leo? It made me cry too because Prue need his help and he didn't show, the the stupid people wouldn't move out of the way. There was a crazy lady that busted into their home saying she wanted to help them. And being that Prue was already pissed at the situation she used her powers on the woman and made the woman fly out the door. The lady came back with a gun and shot Piper in the back. Piper died at the hospital.
