  • well, i associate KFC with computer games. (srsly) and whenever i'm playing xbawks i eat KFC.

  • omg poor chickens but tasty :p

  • how many chicken is in the world?

  • I heard that they inject something into grain thats gonna be fed to the chickens to make them grow faster.

  • yeah it is kind of fucked up that all those chickens are dying

    but DAMN it's good chicken

  • Gotta LOVE Good Chicken :P

  • Finger licking murder :9

  • In the first place to show that what KFC and other large groups do is show and tell you things you want to see and hear saying "Hey that Asian chick is Hot!" that's the point that the video is trying to get across to you..the KFC brand is behind one of the biggest animal cruelty's in the world just under the Fur Farms when you have a large market like KFC trying to make it more and more faster and faster bigger and bigger cutting corners where ever they can putting more cash in there pockets

  • WHAT EVER WHO CARES IT TASTE GREAT

  • Get a life, chicken shitheads.

This work isn't intended to discredit anyone's efforts, but rather offer a perspective that seems seldom appreciated as to the nature of globalization. I don't accept the concept of a free market or capitalism as it is currently manifest (i.e. structural power/global capitalism as we experience it) as a 'natural' reality. To do so would be thoughtless. The nature of commerce and exchange are more malleable than what people tend to accept or expect - hence this perspective work.

  • A couple of easy words

    GET A FUCKING LIFE

  • No serious offense... But this is the free market (I hate globalism) but you can't shake your finger at KFC. If they weren't there it would be someone else. How can you honestly shun hard work that obviously took years of dumbing the people down to believe something out of the Television, instead of thinking for themselves? If you're dumb enough to buy into it you are dumb enough to make you children obese. Hopefully those people will die out or so evolution says they should.

  • That Asian chick eating the popcorn chicken is really hot.

  • Did I see a fat guy kiss the Coronel?!

    Blasphemy!

No one kisses the Coronel except the hottest of women!

  • the editing is really well done -- it seems to subliminally capture the McWorld environment of fast-paced, globalized countries. Some countries might be starving, but in all those "blue countries" one is never too far from a bucket of Kentucky's finest (right???)

  • Great spot. The background music is very loud on my PC...making it difficult to understand the commentary. I attempted to adjust it for clarification to no avail.

  • How very relevant this is to the state of our "global village" today. Very poignant- and great editing!

  • Well Done.

I am curious as to the significance of the image at 2:48...

  • This video was informative and highlights the branding story of a cultural icon. Emotional branding is far more effective and prevalent in our current climate of technological advances. This video does an excellent job of highlighting the power of emotion in culture branding.

  • This video shows high level commentary on the reality of sales, marketing and branding. Too often businesses think they are selling a physical product - in reality they are selling emotion - no matter the country.

  • This is really very good and well articulated in its commentary and rounded with powerful imagery. I think the producer has captured the essence of what branding is and how it can achieve succuss for a corporation regardless of the quality or how the product is produced and then successfully sold to a global market. Incredibly convincing and thought provoking!

  • As the global economy grows, the branding of successful corporations is what helps them make inroads in new markets. This video really gives insight to the lengths a brand must go.

  • I am impressed with the quality of the video and the storyline. This, to me, is a testament to capitalism at its best and most basic and successful form. That is, taking a product and adapting it very effectively to the many cultures that the corporation wishes to enter and continue to make it relavent over time. The corporation, as a matter of necessity must intercalate and take on the cultures to be taken seriously. They must be taken seriously or go under.

  • I really enjoyed this video and what it demonstrates. I think it was very clever of the producer to demonstrate the global reach of a uniquely Amnerican product. I also like that the producer presented the real fact that it is not about the product being sold but rather that the product is the lifestyle it represents. Very well done.
