It was the sadistic holocaust and ultimately turning against his own "beloved Germany" (as he was fond of saying; lying psychopath)..that ultimately brought the Third Reich to it's demise.

exactly the point i made to another. Not only did they throw away millions of lives, which is something I have no words for, they also oppressed most of Europe and divided it. They say that the Communists were heroes, but the only ones that they helped were themselves, not only by freeing their own country, but also helped themselves to the weaker countries, and continued to hunt down former German soldiers for years after the war.

Hang on a tick Barbraossa85, the Wehrmacht were honourable soldiers and did not kill for fun (like the SS) but they were ORDERED to execute peaceful civilians and committed many atrocities, though they were only following orders though I suspect if contemporary British or German soldiers had been ordered to do the same then they would have followed it.
But the SS were bona-fide psychopaths, their entire creed was murder and genocide. The average German soldier knew of this and supported the SS.

lol this programme is selling the storie of the battle of holland like the dutch have never fight... in reality the germans were stopped in holland by marines and army units on the afsluitdijk, the grebbelinie and the bridges at the maas in rotterdam so hitler had to bomb city's to force a surrender ( bombing of rotterdam 900(or even 30000) deaths and many more wounded)

in reality you dont know what youre talking about...dutch commandos -.- omg...first commandos units were british.And germans were never really stopped...they smashed trough any defences...that's why their type of war was called blitzkrieg.And they were bombing cities because they had superiour airpower and not because they coudn't get through.Dutch had fight but they just didnt stand a chance against superiour german war maschine.

i agree with you that holland didnt had any proper weaponery. the dutch army was after the great war not anymore improved. that was becauze of the time between the world wars in holland we had the time of the broken gun. With the broken gun we mean that everyone in holland was against war. and ofcours the army, navy and airforce were not happy with that. 520 german airplanes were shot down in holland^^ the SS and german paras had much casualties.
