Hello and thanks for the question! I always suggest sticking in the "Family of Color" which is two shades lighter. Typically with natural, and I mean VIRGIN NO PREVIOUS COLOR hair, you don't have to use lightener. You can use a level 4-5 ash color to control warmth. The lighter you go the more un natural, chance of fading and amount of red that will show. If you were to use a lightener (bleach) I would only keep it on for about 15 minutes then tome it with a demi or a permanent color. Good Luck
if i have natural black hair. what colour do you recommend to get a great gradient. that's more towards the natural looking side. or how long do you suggest that i keep in the bleach, should that be the best option? :) thanks in advance
