I live in France (and I'm not french) but I have to say that the health system here is great. You pay like 500 dollars a year and that's it. If you have a problem, you go see a doctor and you pay 0, the same goes for any medication or pills, hospital, scans, etc as long as you have a prescription obviously. And they don't even care if you're already sick when you get the insurance. If Moore wanted that for Americans too, I'm not surprised.

I had surgery, a biopsy, in the US ( as a student, I was insured, wow! two years before I could no tafford it). The surgeon made a mistake in the first op, I had to be raced to the ER for a second op. The morning after, the hospital asked me to leave (it was a hernia cut, you can't walk). I begged for another 24 hrs and serious painkillers. The cut bled steadily for 3 days. 1 yr later I had a major hernia. I was operated in Munich. 4 hours. The surgeon there asked me "who was the butcher?"
