Why Expository Preaching?

@dallasmckinley do you expect every preacher to yell and shout while talking about God? Do you see Jesus yelling and shouting every time he's passionate? They're discussions, not preaching. You don't always have to talk about each member of the trinity to talk about the trinity or a specific part. They probably avoid deep, theological words because they know the people watching (majority) probably won't understand. Deep doesn't mean confusing. The content is deep and great.

The taxes comment cracks me up. Seriously, if talking about preaching is this dry and lifeless, what's the preaching going to be like? Where is the Holy Spirit in this equation? He needs to be a whole lot more than a "given" in a conversation about speaking God's words through the foolishness of preaching. Title of the clip is not accurate as this really isn't even about expository preaching.
