  • lmao i was born in 88 and i love this show!!

  • I remember these times... I grew up in d 80's.. I love it. I use to wake all nigtto watch Night Tracks on superstation TBS... Thank you for posting...

  • 1989 was late 80's good clean fun!

  • Easy Glider for the win!

  • GOD I MISS THE "REAL" TBS WITH "REAL" SHOWS!!!!!!!

AND REAL COMMERICALS WITH UPBEAT JINGLES

AND REAL MUSIC WITH REAL MUSIC VIDEOS

MAN DOES THIS BRING BACK SOME MEMORIES OR WHAT!!

IF ONLY I KNEW WHAT THE FUTURE HELD, I WOULD HAVE RECORDED TV 24/7 BACK IN THE GOOD OLD DAYS!!

    LONG LIVE THE 80'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • we had Night Tracks.....Before MTV!!!!Bring it Back....Bring it Back

  • Why did you edit out the videos?

  • OK, 1969 had the Beatles, the Doors, Chicago, the Grass Roots, the Guess Who, 3DogNight, and 1989 had... T'Pau ? (4:00).

  • @gli7utubeo ... yet another who doesn't get it.

  • I LOVE the commercial at 1:50: Italy makes the best cars, Paris: clothes, England:shoes, and America? The BEST DEODORANT! LOL.

  • aww... this had me giggling because i actually remember most of these commercials and video's, I'm surprised Jane Child wasn't on this episode, that video was on alot...In June '89 I was 10 going on 11 in August, I had cool parents that let me watch this, MTV and Friday Night Video's. I really miss the 80's, it was a simpler time...

  • The Longest Day aired on TBS on Tuesday, June 6, 1989 at 10:20 PM Eastern/

    9:20 PM Central

  • LOL I remember all those 1-800 numbers in the late 80s early 90s for the lonely losers to meet. That was shortly antiquated once the internet caught on and Craigslist.

  • they should have like a retro-tbs channel, that just shows stuff like this super scary saterday with grand pa,nite tracks till 6 inthe morning and no infomercials!

  • man i miss this show it was of the best things tbs ever did. back in the 80's there were several cable stations that showed music videos after about 11 or 12. it would be alot better than bull shit that gets showed on late night now. i also miss friday night videos.

  • i loved this show too - i remember the birthday weekend too

  • Never heard of night tracks until now. Then again, I didn't have cable.

  • PHONE PALS!

  • I love the Bon Jovi spot! He looks like a kid! Plus - he's calling out to all the run aways... on the streets... with TV sets I guess.

  • I like the second commercial (CNN)...Oh my..how far down the chute we've gone in 20 years....Those questions would'nt dare be asked today.

  • Oh boy! Earl Thomas Conley! $19.98 for 2 CDs of music that all sounds the same.

  • Same Easy Glider ad must have run for about 10yrs. Damn it....Phone Pals is not working.

  • I'd like to met a woman who will hike and fish!

  • You might get Rick Rolled if you watch part 2!

  • wait, did they just skip videos?

  • T'Pau music video and an Ad for Star Trek V: The Final Frontier....IRONY!

  • Coincidence, technically.

  • And the "Contour Chair Lounge:" They should've just listed the places the offer WAS valid! The list would've been short, indeed!

And I dearly loved Heartland Records ads, with their hyperbole... "He's sold more records than anyone in music history... Heartland Records is proud to present.... Zamfir, master of the pan flute..." (or Richard Clayderman, or Burl Ives, or Slim Whitman, or Earl Thomas Conley, take your pick... the ads were hilarious!! lol)

Thanks for uploading this! Very cool!

  • They got that totally wrong on the Old Spice commercial.... Instead of "cars from Italy" and "shoes from England," it should've been "cars from Germany" and "shoes from Italy."

Because in Switzerland, German cars are HUGE. "Shoes from England??" Seriously? Maybe I'm not shoe savvy or something...

  • i want one of those chairs, art!

  • jon bon jovi sure doesnt look like that now!

  • I even rememberd ...."Hi im Art Linkletter". WOW haaaa.

  • This is awesome! I wish there were more airchecks like this here! I remember ALL these commercials...

I had to laugh out loud at the Easy-Glide commercial where the dude is forking over his cash, and the woman's hand is like "come on, come on, more, more..."

    LOL

  • loved this show!

  • Check or money order... that's not something you hear every day....

  • Oooohhh, I remember that Bon Jovi commercial, too. In the other ones he would sayd "Dial 1-800 and keep dialin 9."

  • Jimmy Swaggart!

  • wow..it feels like this was a couple years ago.

  • "Why did you skip Sledgehammer 1986 by Peter Gabriel?"

  • After I recorded this episode, I accidentally taped over some areas so I had to edit them out.

  • ya... I coulda done without Cyndi Lauper!
