  • Awesome vid! Fantastic looking airplane. I can tell it wasn't under FAA regs - we'd have to wear a chute here in the US to be "legal".

  • Very nice vid !

I am taking flying lessons to pass my PPL and I fly on a Robin 200 so I recognise the cockpit and I just want to do aerobatics too !! =)

I just bought a Gopro 2 so I will record my flights.

    Keep going

    Cheers

Ps: I am a 17 years old French boy, sorry if my English is bad ;)

  • Awesome

  • Except that first maneuver wasn't 'aerobatics' in the true sense of the word. That was a spin. Notice the stall, full aft stick, and then right rudder.

  • Must have been real fun. Would like to go. Steve, would you take me on such a flight, if I ever come to Australia?

  • LIKE :)

  • That's awesome. I could do that all day long.

  • I think I would have died in there, I'm terrified of heights lol

  • Hi, the problem with youre engine is the carburator you should check it out, cheers

  • @brizbane1 Or the the fact the prop stops that when doing some Aerobatic maneuvers that have the throttle set to idle (closed) it is the air that is providing the driving force for the propeller/engine, (windmilling flight) when you slow down the aircraft the airspeed is no longer driving the propeller so it stops, nothing wrong with the Carburator, and its not exactly due to the fuel pressure as it was not extended periods or inverted or negative g force. as the carb will be float type.

  • I wanna be a PILOT!!!

  • watch in full view

  • Hahaha pilot sunnies on his head. so aussie.

  • YAY kill the engine. . . I did that the first time i stalled my trainer.. heh :-)

  • Would like very much to go on a flight like that.

  • You need an inverted fuel system

  • Awesome vid guys!

  • isnt that how goose died in top gun?

  • does that airplane have a carberetor or fuel injection?

  • this looks sooo fun! i miss our airplane :/ i'm going to get another one once i'm older

  • AWSOME video! Thanks for sharing!

  • when you go upside down does the engine cut out ?

  • those spins look like fun

  • WHY RUINA VERY GOOD DVD WITH POINTLESS IRRITATING BACK GROUNDS MUSIC ? IT DISTRACTS AND HAS NOTHING WHAT SO EVER TO DO WITH FLYING. THIS CREEPS IN EVERYWHERE.

  • wheel chocks haha! I've done that more than a couple times! :D

  • it isn't in hd

  • @Hkteen australia doesnt have HD technology yet

Thanks you guy for this really nice video !!!

    Nice aerobatic flight !!!

  • Awesome video, I gotta admit if I was in the plane and the engine kept dying I would shit my pants

  • @bugnut82 stupid negative G's

  • wow...sick!

  • I flew this flight with Air Australia earlier in the year - how awesome is it!!??

  • He jumped the chock, and then you let him take you to do aerobatic maneuvers? Insane.

  • VH-XXY

  • This looks like an SF260!

  • did u forgot about the wheel chock that day n just run it over? i think i was there saw it.. :P

  • very well filmed, that's the most realistic vid i have seen so far, I can almost feel the cabin roll and yaw. Hey, just wondering why the engine kept stopping tho?? is it to do with fuel supply to the engine

  • @AussieDannny, yes exactly, the fuel pressure drops that the engine stops too. After it happened about 5 times, I was getting a little concerned!

  • @ozbb22 its simple it can't get the fuel out of the wings anymore maybe he forgot to put on fuelpump + engine has no inverted fuel system and is only to be used for small aerobatics not hammerheads etc ...

  • @ozbb22 It's actually that the Robin 2160 Is not Fitted with an Inverted Fuel an Oil System. These are on more serious aerobatic planes like the CAP 10, Extra 330, Sukhoi SU-31 etc. This allows the plane to fly in any orientation without the engine being starved of fuel. Hope this Helps

  • Nice work!!
