  • Pretty cool my man. But do you really think it's worth it to load and unload all those plates just for calves? I would think one leg with a heavy dumbell would be just as effective.

  • nice weight.. inclined though.. probably decresed the effective weight by 30-40% at least.

  • mechanically speaking, thats not 1400lbs on your shoulders..the weight was between the pivet pt and your shoulders, thus decreasing the force needed to lift it... but still. thats fucking insane...

  • now why would u use so much weight for this exercise there calves they dont respond well with real heavy weight such as that do weight that you do very well with good range of motion for about 11-14 or 15 reps and ur calves should be in good shape in about a month and a half ( first start of with barbell calf raises then seated calf raise and finish of with standing calf raises now that should get you great results!

  • because you should do low reps on calves, no more than 8. your calves are so use to doing hundreds, thousands of reps per day when walking
