I The Servant hanno in comune con i Planet Funk soltanto il front-man, ovvero Dan Black (che però nei PF è un "ospite" mentre nei The Servant è a tutti gli effetti un membro stabile del gruppo), mentre gli altri componenti sono musicisti britannici. Però sono anche loro un gran bel gruppo!
