Probably my all time favorite song. Not a week has gone by since this album was released one the first day of 1990 that I haven't listened to this masterpiece at least once.
Just amazing! My fave Pete Murphy song of all time. So dark and deep. Everytime I hear it, even as a young, naive kid when I first heard it, I am reminded of how youth and beauty are fleeting
adoro este tema, por alla arriba preguntan de que trata el tema, yo siempre considere que por la letra, es una dedicatoria de amor casi de despedida......
In the documentary "Marlene" Dietrich is interviewed by Maximillan Schell. Her voice is heard but face is not seen. After a lifetime in the public eye, she no longer wanted to be photographed, maintaing her visual legend. Over 80 she slowly read her mother's favorite poem and broke down over the line that she never meant to hurt. Dietrich was an amazing, brave and fascinating person.
Such lyrics!

He's morphing into Neil DIamond. But it's a good thing... Murphy rocks. Great musicianship.
