Ya you are right about that angels but you seem to forget that Ireland had prob. the best team in Europe under the so called Great Jack. McCarthy would more than not have done the same with that team as Charlton. I know he hasnt set the world alight with his managerial roles so far but i think Keane would still be a great choice to replace Fergie. He was practically Fergies right hand man, he knows how Man U play, he knows the Fergie way. The players didnt do what he said at previous jobs. At Man U, you do what ur told or find another club. Keane would command the same respect as Fergie. I really cant see how he would fail. It would be a far greater gamble to bring in someone who doesnt know the club.
