  • WHAT YOU ARE SEEING IS NOT CURRENT! THIS IS FROM THE EARLY-1980s AND DOES NOT REPRESENT THE CURRENT-DAY AMNIO PROCEDURE. IT IS BEING POSTED FOR THOSE INTERESTED IN MEDICAL PROCEDURE HISTORY.

  • what the hell is that...that is nothing I've ever seen...this person is a freak

  • Oh my God, I don't like this one bit.

  • AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

thats all i have to say o.0

  • a mi me lo hicieron y es bien incomodo!!

  • This video was very disturbing to me. This makes the procedure look like it hurts. Why is he doing so much? I have done my research on this and the other videos that I have seen were not done this way. He is turning the needle and there is bleeding. It's almost as if he doesn't know what he is doing. I feel like God will take care of your unborn and these doctors don't always know the right thing to do. They told me I would have to have one but couldn't really tell why. It is bull if you ask me.

  • por q sale sangre???

  • What truslack said....THIS IS NOT A MODERN AMNIO!!! This is the type of amnio (circa 1989) that carries the oft stated 1 in 200 risk of miscarriage. Today they always use ultra-sound guidance and the risk of miscarriage is as low as 1 in 1600.

  • que no una amnicntesis se hace con la guia de un ultrasonido

  • where is the ultrasound guide??

  • I wish I had never seen this. I am going in for a CVS and isnt making me feel any better. I hate needles

  • No es una paracentesis esto? :S, pq si es una amniocentesis q horror :I, se me vuy tosco el procedimiento :S

  • Ths is no amnio. This is an attack on the life of the fetus and the mother. Never seen such a thing in more than 30 years that I do amniocentesis

  • This is no attack. Just makes the parents aware of any defects in the unborn child to prepare them for when after the child is born. Procedures like these ones put parents also at ease. If mother is prepared to go through this and knows that there is a risk of miscary then it is up to them to decide

  • This is from the mid-to-late 1980's. Procedures have changed since then; please don't look at this video as an example of 'modern medical procedures.'

  • If this is an amnio then i dont wanna have mine done today, i gotta have it twice, im pregnant with twins!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this is not a amnio....those are done with ultrasounds..this is something else

  • amnicentesis is not done with an ultrasound. It is done with a needle. They do use an ultrasound to guide them though.

  • wow

  • Pregunta: ¿Con este estudio se corre el riesgo de perder el embrión?

  • OMG!!!!!!!!! This makes me wanna scream.

  • This is an amniocentesis procedure performed, unnecessarily dangerously, without ultrasound guidance possibly under local anaesthetic.

  • this is unbelievably painful looking

  • The person was probably asleep so it wouldnt hurt until afterwords...

  • I'm pretty sure she's awake.

  • Either way, it looks painful. Probably feels painful too.

  • it's not a bone marrow, it's amnion fluid

this procedure is done to get the samples of the baby's cells and examine them before birth (especially for Down's syndrome and some other diseases)

  • i think its a bone marrow aspiration procedure. btw where do u get this clip?

  • Step 1: Hospital uses lots of u-matic SP tapes.

Step 2: Sells tapes on ebay

Step 3: buyer encodes, posts on ebay

    Step 4: ???

    Step 5: Profit!
