I think Kirk is more talented than Dave at guitar but he sort of lacks the spirit that Mustaine gave to the group. I'm sort of glad they offed Dave because Metallica and Megadeth are both great for seperate reasons and should stay different bands. When I want fast and badass I go pop in Megadeth, when I want melodic and epic I pop in Metallica. It all works out for the better.
