I use the programm MSN-Messenger and when somebody starts talking to me (a new conversation should open up) it only shows on the taskbar an not on RocketDock. How can I make this conversation go directly to RocketDock (so that I can completely hide my taskbar)? Thanks in advance.

I have RocketDock and it's great except for one problem. You mentioned the great ability for the dock to hold minimized screens. I'm looking for something that will automatically put an icon on the dock for every open program. For example, I open 2 internet screens, but don't minimize the back one. I want it to be on the dock automatically instead of having to hide the front screen to access the rear screen. Any ideas?

i moved my start menu to the top of my screen and used window blinds with a mac tiger theme. And it made my start menu all white and instead of the start menu saying start it has an apple logo. And the scroll bars are blue and stuff too. (Window Blinds does all that) So now the start menu kind of looks like finder at the top and it has a clock in the top right corner like on a mac too.

@shupa4 What you need to do is push CTRL+ALT+DELETE and start taskmanager and go to run and type explorer.exe then you need to navigate to the startup folder for your user and remove the application that removes explorer.exe and it should work :) if that doesnt work try Ctrl+R and click browse and navigate to ur startup folder

When the instalation prompts you the install directory, repleace "C:\Program Files\StarDock\Object Dock\" for "C:\Program Files\RocketDock\", that solved the problem for me (first time I did a "hit Next" install)

At last, I use Dexpot - the perfect program for using multi virtual desktops. RocketDock can't work with it. ObjectDock works with it in perfect way. And "Minimize Windows" feature in both RocketDock and ObjectDock slows down my computer while switching between virtual desktops.

Also I'll not recommend to turn the taskbar off cuz Windows has notification function (i.e. When Windows taskbar is turned into autohide mode, and when ThunderBird notification message arrives taskbar appears and user can see blinking window button of that notification window - without this feature user can miss some important notifications). Its not too comfort to have popuping taskbar at the bottom, so I decided to move it to the left of the screen, even though I have ObjDock at the top.

I use Stacks Docklet - it has very smooth eyecandy animation. I don't use RocketDock though, I'm using ObjectDock instead becuz of many reasons: RocketDock doesn't have quick button (docklet) to turn Autohide setting on/off, also if I've to maximize window RocketDock has no setting to autohide itself in that case. And I really like glow effect on mouseover in ObjectDock instead of bothersome magnifying.
