Shine (1996) Soundtrack 1st Movement Cadenza from the Rach.3 (Rachmaninoff)

This movie came out on vhs/dvd about 15 years ago, when I first I watched it in college. It was and continues to be truly inspiring. In fact I have the Cadenza, the Rach. 3 Reborn, Un Sospiro and Prelude Cis Moll all on my 4th or 5th I-pod, each with ~1,000 plays.

Geoffrey rush did in the movie commentary the director said geoffrey rush played ask of the songs he just learned where to put his hands on the piano

@sackwhacker Amazon says david helfgot. I've studied hisle campanella and he plays it the same way he plays it in his old albums helfgott that is. So i'm sure helfgott is on the album. but, I could be wrong lol.

@sackwhacker you know at one point I even contacted one of Helfgotts close friends, they sell his cd's on his website. we talked and I asked her a question if david helfgot was on the Shine album. she never replied ;)
