I don't think the song was saying that. I feel that it was saying that other people will be drawn to me because of the light that is within me which is God. Yes I may appear to be one thing when in actuality I am of God. When people approach you and ask how is it that you are always happy you have a chance to witness God's word and his will for everyone's life. I guess because I've experienced this before is why I say this.

@GoodLove2Hard I agree with you . She makes a wonderful point but I just don't feel like it applies to this song. Just because this songs is not soaking with stripture doesn't mean it isn't of God . I think the artist means that Its God who supplies them with their needs and the "fancy" clothes.....NOT THE WORLD.
