If you watch movies, play games, listen to music, surfing the web - 8GB of Ram is more than enough, even 4GB is enough but RAM is so cheap now so you might aswell take 8GB just to have it. But you benefit from having more ram (like in your case with the 32GB) when you do alot of rendering and editing videos and stuff, that'll help

For gaming, noone needs more then 8gb. The most games takes 2-4gb ram. More gb are only needet if there are rly many applications are running in background.

At card the 7970 is beating any card atm! Take a i5 2500k or i7 2600k and overclock the ass out of them ! Take a good P68 or z68 board to that and you will run more then fine.

But dont forget to take a strong and good power supply, like a new be quiet or corsair !

Watercooling is not rly hard needet if there is a good air flow in your case !

To run more monitors you want a lot of Vram. So go get the best card you can with the most Vram. Also note the more GPUs you have does not mean that you have more Vram. Also the 7970 is a beast.

The longer answer, if your computer is from ok-good (you can probably get one for your operative system and use another disc to the data), you don't NEED one for gaming, but if you are aiming at a really good computer and just going for fine tuning, and have some spare 200$s you can get some ssd.

Onto my 2nd graphics card now which is the perfect card for me: MSI 560TI twin frozr. The thing has the best goddamn cooling system...always right around 35c. Can't beat it for $250 (like a year ago when i bought it...probably cheaper now)

32 ram is more then enough, Just make sure (You probably have bought the parts already but) that you don't create any sort of bottlenecking, where you have parts that will overrun others and not work to there performance. I would also usually suggest a nvidia like you were saying.. but raedons are alot better for running multiple moniters which is obviously your case. Also when on newegg look around and not just choose parts you first see, theres lots of great parts that are cheap but stillgood!

Okay, 32GB Of RAM is THE most overkill thing I've ever heard, you need 20GB, MAXIMUM, Then you want an I7 Extreme quad core, A few Nvida GTX 590's, Grab a couple of Samsung 445gb SSD's and then everything else is just what you want. Ignore the guy telling you to get 4 Graphics cards, Your system can only use 1/PC meaning you can use 3 cards at full capacity, not 4.
