  • My favourite Saints this Xmas day are St Johnstone and St Mirren

  • OUR DAY CAME

  • I was only 8 when this happened, so I don't really have any memories of my reaction to it. What I do remember is my dad and my uncle sitting watching the game, and I couldn't understand why it meant so much. I was a Celtic fan, but only because my dad was. But I'll always remember the emotion and pure joy on my dad and uncle's faces when the final whistle blew. It's only now I realise how big a deal stopping ten in a row was.

  • man u did not sing it first , next you'll be claimin you've won more european cups also it is a football song but its debateable who sung it first between liverpool and celtic

  • @lfc200506

Actually it -was- infact Liverpool who sang it first mate...

I'm a Celtic fan and i've done a bit of research into this... don't ask me how but i found it out =P

Anyway there's still alot of our fans who are in denial and still claim Celtic sang it first.

    HOWEVER.

The song was intended as a Celtic song. The man who wrote the song has stated and i quote:

"I will only ever sing at Celtic park, i couldn't do a live performance at Anfield."

  • sorry mate, its fact, man u sang it first, after the munich air disaster it was played out over the speakers and the fans started singin along with it,but that was a once off, they never did it again after that,it was liverpool fans who started singing it regularly first though!

  • Andy Goram, Richard Gough, Ally McCoist, Walter Smith -

If the glove fits... SMELL IT!

    Classic classic moments...

  • ynwa is not a liverpool song its not even a football song it was sung in the 1930 it was taken from a musical in 1945 called carousel

  • YNWA was sung at Hampden in '57 by the Celtic fans, dick head.

  • Man Utd sang it before Liverpool actually

  • This is actually tue but no one wants to talk about it.

  • Amazing video! great memories of that day! The emotion was unbelievable! I dont think the players realized just how important that game was! what a team Hail! Hail!

  • i reckon they did..there was celtic in their veins, be they scot or swede, pole or whatever..they knew what that win meant to us...

if they didnt realise the importance, they didnt deserve to wear the hoops

  • Ja'sus yeah this was one of the best title victories in Celtic's history, I think last years one was special also b-cos of all the twist n' turns etc.... We are with out any question one of the most passionate/passive supporters on this earth. Lov it..C'mon d hoops

  • 11 years ago today. Hairs still stand up on the back my neck thinking about it...the leagues's not gone yet this year either...believe!

  • Great video...very different and more 'backstage' than any I've seen before. Not wasted by some fat balloon who we all know is a Hun talking all over the top of it.

  • thats right show the celtic fans but dont show the saints fans

  • I said it then and i'll say it again....THANK FUCK!!!! Imagine if they'da got the ten?? It would be fuckin unbearable. Every one of that squad played their part with a goal here, a clearance or save there, it all counted to help us stop the ten. Even watching this, i can still remember the nervousness that i had that day lol. Hail Hail Bhoys and Ghirls!!

  • Andy 'the racist bigot' Goram walked into the Celtic dressing room earlier in the season, just after a Rangers victory. He said 'Smell the glove thats gonna win 10 in a row'. On winning the league and stopping 10 the Celtic team walked out to pick up the trophy wearing t shirts that said 'Smell the glove' lol How much of a fud he must feel to this day!
