We have Cypriots of Greek, Turkish, Maronite, Armenian, Latin origins and with immigration growing in Cyprus, the ingredients in this mixture keep increasing. Being Cypriot is a synonym for this mixture not for one ingredient.

Some are of Maronite, Latin origin, others come from Jews from Safed, others Yoruks, Janisaries, Kurds, Karaman Greeks, Spanish Jews, Palestinians and other Arabs and Iranians. Even some Kashmiris. We have Cypriots of Greek, Turkish, Maronite, Armenian, Latin origins and with immigration growing in Cyprus, the ingredients in this mixture keep increasing. Turkish Cypriots are not all Turks. Turkish Cypriots themselves are very mixed. Some are of Maronite, Latin origin, others come from Jews from Safed, others Yoruks, Janisaries, Kurds, Karaman Greeks, Spanish Jews, Palestinians and other Arabs and Iranians. Even some Kashmiris. the north region of Cyprus is occupied by turks. since 1974 There have been over 140000 turkish settlers and 40000 turkish soldiers moved in in violation of international law and the Geneva convention. Violation of this provision of the geneva convention is considered a war crime! These occupied lands are not recognized by any country other than turkey (the invaders of the island). Join the fight to remove Turkish settlers and Turkish troops from Cyprus.
