St. Patrick the man from Cornwall who was first captured by raiders and brought as a slave until he escaped and later became a missionary then he returned to so Éire and was not trusted by the Druids and they tested him to see if he was who he says he was, he passed the Druids test and then converted Éire to Christianity and we were rid of the snakes aka Pagans, and since then to this day traditions have faded into the dark and we've got Catholics and Protestants still at each others throats
What a total bunch of bull. You think all American are rich? Far from it, most of us are poor as dirt. We work our asses off, go into huge debt just to have a shot at a college education, and then we work like slaves trying to pay off the education debt, buy a car, and support a small family. I was not invited to the "hungry people on the sidewalk" meeting, and I didn't fabricate any stories.
I'm bored of you now, please take this elsewhere. You've already made this my most discussed video, albeit not that difficult a feat, but you have served your purpose.
I was bored of you last week, but people still asked questions. Why don't you stop worrying about what people talk about, and go make another silly video.
People? I think you'll find it's one person. And don't listen to Chris, he doesn't even make videos anymore. And he likes to argue. Clearly. And I can say what I like, in whatever way I like, as it's my channel. You however are a guest and I shall not have you bandying your unnecessarily hyphenated words around my videos.
And I never said I was worrying about what anybody was talking about. I am however tired of receiving an email every time you leave another pointless comment.
Listen, back when the Irish started to come over to the US, everyone was "socially isolated." Why? Because we were all poor as dirt, and there was no economy (no jobs either.) The US economy did not start heating up until later. When the economy started to grow, the Irish were the first people in jobs, in schools, and in politics. Don't worry about Irish people, they are not socially isolated.
Yeah right. We have Irish ghettos all over the place. And they are not in big cities, like regular ghettos, the are very isolated, way way out in the mountains.
Nonsense is all one word. If you insist on carrying out a debate that everyone here knows you are losing, please don't embarrass yourself with spelling errors.

St. Patty's day is for Catholics only. Let them celebrate the Catholic child molesting, the Catholic terrorist killings, and the Catholic invasion of illegal immigrants,,,,,,alone.
Don't be pressured into participating, and don't let your children be pressured into participating in our public schools.
first of all its st paddy's day. second of all, the schism in christianity hadn't happened when st. patrick brought christianity to ireland. third of all this is an irish gathering, where the majority of people are catholic even though im not. (i is atheist but i still celebrate st. paddys day.)
In the US, it is called St. Patrick's Day. Yea, I know that is not what its call in Ireland. Things are different here in the States. St. Patrick brought Catholicism to Ireland (or so the stupid legend goes.)
paddy is short for patrick. pattyy is short for patricia. the legend goes that st. patrick brought CHRISTIANITY to ireland. it wasnt until much later that protestantism and catholicism and lutherism formed.
When a Catholic refers to 'Christians' they are talking about Catholics. The official policy of the Catholic church is that, Protestants are not Christians. So when it is said that St. Patrick brought Christianity to Ireland, what it means is that he brought Catholicism to Ireland.
Anyway, it is just a stupid old legend, that is hard to believe. It was all a very very long time ago.
Is that why the Protestant reverend at our Protestant school talked about St Patrick bringing Christianity to Ireland in assembly today?
Seriously dude, if you're going to try to do the "intelligent" hating on videos, I'd recommend you did it elsewhere, you know, to someone who gives a shit. Or keep commenting, this is my most discussed video thanks to you=D
Also, you know as well as I, and every other person here knows that Patrick's Day, in modern times, has nothing to do with religion.
I am glad that you talk about cool stuff at Protestant school. Ireland and the US are 2 very different places; for example, there is no place that we call 'Protestant school.' St. Patrick's Day does have something to do with religion, and politics.
I'm an old fart from California, USA. However, I'm on holiday in the UK for two weeks and will actually be flying to Dublin for St. Patrick's Day (my name's Patrick, thought it would be appropriate). So I actually may swing by and say "hi". That is if you'll have me. =)
oh my GOD! i do NOT want a repeat of January!!!! we HAD stepped out of showers and I plan on bringing a change of clothes and MAKE UP THIS TIME!!!! AHHHHHHH

Every one was working on those railroads, not just the Irish. Would you be happier if the men stayed home, and let the women build the country?

You say that you were the only Irish Family in Nashua, NH in 1989? So who were the other families, Swedish?
