North Korea is so close to South Korea that it would be impossible for them to stop a nuke from striking them. They would perhaps have a 10-20 seconds from the point of launch to find the missile to be able to stop it. However if there are no nukes involved I do believe the South would win (Did my research on both militaries). South Korea has a larger army and is far more sophisticated.
