  • 6:20 hurray Trev gets his due

  • that bloke in the green shirt has been turned by bowie I swear

  • john, im only dancing is amazing but it did generate a slew of awful glam bands i.e GG, sweet, mud, slade etc..

  • maybe if the musicians were credited, people like me [would] know who they are

  • That guy in the in the green shirt is obsessed w/ homo erotic themes. Hmmm..... makes you wonder what's on his mind....

  • .....again with the green t shir idiot,.....(sigh) John, I'm Only Dancing IS about America, the US, as in "im afraid of americans" and the character "John" is a reference to the american culture wich Bowie fell in love with and probably is the love of his life, he lives in the US not England

  • @cobraviper11 John I'm only dancing is about a boyfriend letting his boyfriend know that his dancing with a girl was only that..dancing.

  • @cobraviper11 John I'm only dancing is about a boyfriend letting his boyfriend know that his dancing with a girl was only that..dancing. About America????? look it up.

  • Hail Trevor Bolder's sideburns!!!

  • they're always talking about Ronno in Rebel Rebel, but the fact is that Bowie played it by himself

  • You took the words right out of my mouth, well done! Ronson's not on the Diamond Dogs album at all, Bowie did all the guitars (fantastic stuff) except for the funky guitar on 1984 (which is Alan Parker's). Nonetheless Ronson was absolutely great. These 'experts' seem to know very very little...

  • yeah. but some stuff are interesting though

  • @kidcalabria Ronson didn't play on Diamond Dogs but I think his influence is on it...I think Ronson was still with Bowie when he was working up some of the Diamond Dog songs. I think Diamond Dogs was Bowies last GREAT album and partially because of Ronsons influence which hadn't totally faded yet.

  • @MacAggy Well, I certainly dissagree with that. I think that some of Bowie's post Diamond Dogs albums, namely Station To Station, Heros and Scary Monsters And Super Creeps, are actually his best,.. though I've never favored Young Americans ( the album he'd made right after Diamond Dogs ) myself. And it certainly isn't as though he hasn't collaborated with any talented musicians other than Ronson !

  • @Skulldini That's cool...it's just a matter of personal taste. I know he's collaborated with other great musicians it's just I prefer the products of Bowie and Ronson over them. But I'll try to listen to the albums you mentioned with more of an open mind next time I break them out.

  • nope, nothing gay at all bout the video for john, im only dancing

  • the best extended solo he did is the ''moon age day dream'' !!!!! ..........well i feel so,nothing like that solo man !!!

  • Great solo, one of the best!
