  • hows it do in the primer pockets? pretty clean?

  • what about showing us the inside of the cases to? What about cleaning those? A nice nylon brush in a drill or some thing to buff them out.

  • Auto Drain?? Bad Ass. I am gonna put a hole in my tumbler and put a plug in it to do this... Although i'm sure it won't work at all.. ha ha

  • I wanna get a clear top for mine. It is just a cheapo Frankford Arsenal and comes with a solid blue top. Gotta always take the top off to check.

  • I like the rubber gloves better then the tumbler..

  • if it safe to clean live ammo with a tumbler?????

  • @mememojo

    No, read the top comment.

  • Yoo can also use the tumbler to pollish yr wife's silverware and gold jewlery, and clean freshly laid eggs to get the poop off them, also gently cleans cell phones, cameras etc without getting them wetYoo can also use the tumbler to pollish yr wife's silverware and gold jewlery, and clean freshly laid eggs to get the poop off them, also gently cleans cell phones, cameras etc without getting them wet

  • go back to doing it one at a time by hand. There should be no rest for the wicked

  • Good video. Seeing kit work before you buy it is a plus. Good job and thank for posting this video. Great help.

  • Great video, one thing that I do that some may not know is, cut up a used dryer sheet into 4 pieces, throw that in your media while you tumble. you bring a lot of dirt out of your media. Makes your media last longer, and stay a lot cleaner.

  • How many brass did you put in it? Do you have to tumble brass everytime you re-load? (I'm New to re-loading)

  • @toyautotech You don't Necessarily need to but it reduces the amount of ware on your dies.

  • useful

  • I posted a similar comment on an individual's wall regarding an autodispenser, and I'm going to say the same thing to you. Lyman ought to be paying you for this video. This is a great how-to video and you make this look as simple as can be. Some of my questions were answered (how long do you tumble, why tumble, separating media from brass after). Thanks for posting this.

  • Nice tumbler and Lyman has GREAT customer service too. Thanks for the vid.

  • From this video 45 casings work great, but can this tumbler remove the media from .223 casings that has a narrowed neck? Or would a media separator do any better? And if polish were added to the media would the media stay inside .223 casings? Has anyone tried this tumbler on .223 casings as described above, how did it work?

  • So where the hell are the rocks?????

  • I know but it's the exact same thing,i use it to clean jewelery in stainless steal media. And it can be used to tumble rocks also. And being that it's used for shell casings instead of jewelry it's about 100.00 dollars cheaper.I have 2 and the only difference is the one for jewelery has a shutoff on the cord.

  • @Sharmanultra1 I wish people would not use foul language,my 10 year old happened across this while I was in search of tumbler information on you tube.

  • @1cenglish Thats not my problem that you let your ten year old child on this site, This IS NOT a family site, there are much worse things on here than cuss words...

  • @Sharmanultra1 , geat, I see the comment was removed,

sorry, but looking at a tumbler IS NOT considered ADULT,

you are wrong about this not being a family site, for example

type "micky mouse club house" wow, look what comes up.

I understand there are sites that are not proper for children or for that matter even adults to look at,i never figured a tumbler video to be cosidered,

"ADULT CONTENT" , the main thing is the comment has been removed.

  • Why not build your own Tumbler for like ten bucks? Look up TumblerTest1 on youtube, He did. I built one for eight bucks. It tumbles not viberate. The viberto version takes alot longer then a real tumbler.

  • Because i think I he wanted clean brass, not a toy...

  • Ok I am getting a Tumbler in the next day or two and have been looking for a few months. I cant find much difference with a $129.00 a $58.00 and now a $29.00. All are 110v, all are the same size and hold the same MAX amount of cases. All are on the 3 bearing Vibration. So my question is you get what you pay for, but do I really need to by the Top end or will any case tumbler do.

  • This is an awesome video! I'm in the process of shopping for a tumbler and i will highly consider this one. thank you very much for this posting.

  • Great video sure know your stuff.. Thanks.

  • Absolutely not, When you put live ammo in a tumbler the powder in the round will be broken down into smaller pieces in turn giving you a faster burn rate and increasing the pressure upon firing. You might get away with it with certain powders but don't take the chance of blowing up your gun or injuring/killing yourself.

  • also a bullet could hit another bullets primer setting it of and possibly setting others of

  • Thanks for post the video, very informative.
