whats your point?as a polititian you have to play to everyone.the change is that we as a country can put behind us the bullshit we have been feed for the past hundred years.because deep down we all want to belive that no matter who you are or where you come from that with hard work and perserverence any thing is possible.
Pillary looks like a cross between Dick Cheney with hair & Karl Rove in a peach pantsuit! The media's making money off reporting that this race is close, that Clinton has a chance to win, but she'd have to blow him out of the water in all the remaining states to catch up to his lead.
Pillary Rotten CLITon hasn't got a chance to win!!!! I wouldn't place any bets on her winning or you'll lose your $ just like you'll lose your $ if you donate to her sinking campaign!
Plagiarism has to be written. Because only writing (or recordings) can be claimed as property, only writing can be stolen. I agree that Obama's campaign is not as different as he says it is. I think you make a good pt there. But we'd all benefit from legitimate criticisms rather than nonsense that's been whipped up to fill the 24 hr news cycle.
I disagree I think ha has doen a lot of things fundamentally different. How does a shoe-in like Clinton get beaten? Answer that question and you may revisit what you've posted.
BTW Turthful are you still voting Democrat or are you likely to throw your toys out of the cot. I still think you probably over analysed things but I am certain that you're gut was telliong you that hey there is somethng more to Obama.
bomber -- truthful and i were in a long discussion over several of his videos. i was granting truthful one point before disagreeing on many others.
altho i am an obama supporter, i am displeased with several "same-old" aspects of his campaign 1) middling wishy-washy (frankly Clintonian) responses to the Rev Wright issue. I think he shd have stood up for his community and his church. But he did the pol careful thing -- much like Bill on welfare or Hill on the war.
cont... 2) his support of Israel is not very different, at least as he has said it. I only hope that in both cases his tepid talk is merely the means to get in and make some real changes on US racial and foreign policy.
And merely beating Sen Clinton does not mean he did something different. There's no such thing as a shoe-in in politics -- that's why we actually have elections. You never know. BTW You realize that some former Bill Clinton staffers are on his campaign, right?
You've formed an opinion on that and that's fine. What you need to look at is where he is now. You have no way fo knowing for sure that had not Obama not taken this position he would have paid for it. Frankly the way forward is paved with controversy that feeds the media and peopel like Truthful thinking that everything must not be taken at face value.
This is to say thatObama does what he does becasue of the huge distrust that has beseiged Americans all thanks to the systematic dumbing down of Joe public. In terms of a shoe-in well I beg to differ. At the beginning of the primaries no-one even considered that Obama wioudl figure as largely as he did and not ontly was this a result of hard work and wining minds it was the result of the message taht has instilled in people that they have the power.
Obama knows that Clinton didn't. As an Obamam supporter I am surpsried that you did not recognise this. Anyway it's history now. Focus should go on pushing forward and gettign those blooduscking partisans and bush out of Government. America needs her honour restored from where I'm sitting.
No politician writes all of their own speeches. Obama did not plagiarize, and his Senate record, history in law and his policies never contradict what he speaks about. On the issues, Hillary should be a vast improvement to the present neo-conservative agenda. But, after comparing each issue of each candidate, Obama is the greatest candidate. These pseudo-issues are irrelevant and don't matter.
I feel you don't go half as far as you should when weighing up some of your points for th efirst part calling your response to much of hwta has gone on seems to fall firmly inline with waht the pro republicans are commenting on eg. Rev. Wright and then I don;t see any comment re: Hilary's obvious lack of memory regarding her trip to the war zones in Europe. Trust me Ia m using that phrase very loosely.
You have to question Clinton's intetn and drive considering the premature talk of joint tickets. Does the party want someone who will make concessions in order to achieve watered down outcomes or someone who is focusse d and driven to achieve objectives. It has to be Obama.
I think she did a magnificent job of putting O to the test and he failed. EVERYONE wanted them on the same ticket and he pandered to the same concept just like HRC did.
Then when HRC puts him on spot he backs off of it. He is more and more looking like a double talker.
This is a race for the nomeination. For the first part. What's Hilary's ploy? Attacking her co-nominee. OK this is politics but surely change is about leaving all of her old school tactics behind and trying to put real issues and answers on the table. What is she doing testing Obama when she should be telling people what she inteds to do if given the nomination adn then being President. How has Obama filed H's test when the process hasn't concluded not ot mention that Hilary is still trailing.

Obama is making the change right before your eyes but U don't even see it. That's because U don't even know what kind of CHANGE he is trying to bring about.
U should just stick to "INEXPERIENCE" as a reason not to vote for him.
All Obama has going for him is that he is a fresh new original speaker being able to uplift people (with no experience or proven ability to change) now he can not say he is different or original....
Given it was a small instance but now his words will be scrutinized heavily....
Of course he pushed blame onto HRC but everyone knows that HRC still has experience and proven ability to change to back her up........unlike someone we all know..
Obama said words to inspire like Si Se Puede, which means Yes We Can from Chavez, not Patrick! just like I have a dream. Obama said thousands of words, wrote books, his own speeches unlike Clinton. They're just focused if he say a few words they heard before. Hillary has said more, like " healing this nation" Obama started this year. Even though it was 20 yrs ago, He started it this year, and Hillary said it right after. Same with Change! He brought it back this year, and everyone followed.
I really have nothing to say about it because you're right, but it still seems a little trivial for even a panicing campaign.
if the context was the same and there's already been a powerful address about a similar situation then i'd have no problem with him quoting or making reference. He probably should have done that. Khayav made a video just like this speech, may have been coincidence or maybe people just think the same way about this topic. i'll link u.
lol, well i'm not an idiot. i don't follow politicans blindly. the only reason i support obama is because i truly belive he would be better for the job than hillary based on the fact that hillary has too much to hide. do you notice that the more people see of her the more they dislike her? its no coincidence.
That's my point! Obama has only been in hard politics for 3 years right? He has already gotten his nose dirty and he is just getting started. Because come on, he is just another politician.
i really can only find two instances against him and they really aren't even front page worthy. if its true that he is just getting started compared to other politicians he's off to a poor start.
Hillary has not only done the same thing... she's been known to tall tall tales too!
Try Googling this one to verify it: Hillary once famously claimed (during a trip to Nepal in the 90s) that she was named in honour of Sir Edmund Hillary, the first man to climb Everest.
Problem is... she was born in 1947, whilst Sir Edmund Hillary only climbed Everest 6 years later in 1953!!!
I'd choose someone who borrows a friend's words (and openly admits it) over a liar any day.
What else can you do once is evident to the world? Either you look like an idiot or you claim you are borrowing your friends words.
Guess what? That is not the only one he is borrowing from, Maquio died in 1989, he was an amazing powerful figure, and those chants of "si se puede" "we can change" plus the content of the speeches made him (Maquio) Unforgettable. I was there!
Ron Paul is done Kanard.....what are you talking about?
McCain is war monger who will say anything to get elected (Read my lips.....no more taxes.) and Obama is an empty suit. He said he is the man for change yet he can not even provide an original speech....
By the way that's his second time doing it too....
I don't support McCain at all (I won't even start), I don't believe in Obama, I agree with you he is just an actor reciting someone else's inspired words without the content.
But no more Clinton please, she is not her husband.
Ron Paul is not done, you never know what will happen, there are things the media doesn't tell you. Though I do believe there are more powerful people than the laws, and the Republic.
I've been saying it all along! Not of this governor, I guess that is not the only leader Obama has plagiarized. Yes, that "Yes we can! Si se puede" everyone is chanting about, and that "CHANGE" speeches, I recognized so many words of a loved Mexican PAN candidate from 1988 (Maquío...si se puede!).
It is a big deal people, you are voting for empty stolen digested and regurgitated words if not worst.
He used a collection of phrases that his friend told him to use. What's the big deal? Say what you will about him, he's still nowhere near as horrible as Hillary or Mr. 100 Years War Gates of Hell Bomb Iran.
An empty suit with no hope is your best hope? Over a woman who had spent her entire life promoting change. The feeling I am getting is that if Obama told people to paint their faces green and cluck like a chicken because it will help change America.......they would do it without question...
whats your point?as a polititian you have to play to everyone.the change is that we as a country can put behind us the bullshit we have been feed for the past hundred years.because deep down we all want to belive that no matter who you are or where you come from that with hard work and perserverence any thing is possible.

Well. The contradiction lays in his message of "Change". It's not a "Change" to have someone write speeches and spins for you.
Then, for him to say his a unifier and then get busted attending racist anti-American sermons is a contradiction.
On top of that he says he wants to remove "Old Dirty Political Tricks" yet he uses those same tricks on a daily basis.
So "Change" is out the door. All he has now is a limp resume and popularity.
Hence HRC is the better choice.

The problem is he has done it a few times in the past and now the AP and their momma are going to look back and start reviewing his words.

"Change" can go right and it can go wrong. Change for the best...
For truth and substance, not candy-coated bullshit RON PAUL 2008.

Ron Paul is done Kanard.....what are you talking about?
McCain is war monger who will say anything to get elected (Read my lips.....no more taxes.) and Obama is an empty suit. He said he is the man for change yet he can not even provide an original speech....
By the way that's his second time doing it too....
:-)
Vote Clinton 08

I don't support McCain at all (I won't even start), I don't believe in Obama, I agree with you he is just an actor reciting someone else's inspired words without the content.
But no more Clinton please, she is not her husband.
Ron Paul is not done, you never know what will happen, there are things the media doesn't tell you. Though I do believe there are more powerful people than the laws, and the Republic.

I am all about the choices at hand.
The only suitable choice at hand is Hillary Clinton

Are you serious?
An empty suit with no hope is your best hope? Over a woman who had spent her entire life promoting change. The feeling I am getting is that if Obama told people to paint their faces green and cluck like a chicken because it will help change America.......they would do it without question...
