  • Any sulotion on this, I have the exact same problem.. bad

  • Nederland - I've got the same MBP and problem. To make a long story short: iCentre where I bought this and more: no service, sorry. So i found Microfix in Amsterdam (official AASP). Brought it wednesday, got a mail that the Nvidea must be ordered, and today I got a call and picked it up: fixed AND FREE OF CHARGE. (support.apple.com/kb/TS2377?viewlocale=en_US) Fixed in 24 hours! Dus Microfix bedankt! Opgelost in 24 uur! Klasse. Ik ga daar voortaan mijn Apple spullen halen etc.

  • I had the same problem, went on this site, took the advice and went to apple they are repairing it for free even though it's not guaranteed anymore they said its the graphic card and are replacing it for free.

  • I have same problem someone posted a way to take apart logic board and cook in oven for 10 minutes and reapply paste anyone try this

  • have you fix it? what was causing this?

  • Im gaurenteeing a ram problem

  • That's not a MacBook Pro. xP

  • @m0ony1 yeah it is

  • 2:25 all you can do now is leave the RAM out, turn it on and leave it in a public place and see how long it takes for people to freak out and think its a bomb XDD (I joke, of course.)

  • @MichaelYaremchuk Well mate Ive had good and bad luck with macs, growing up using them. Sick of forking over a few grand to some snobby kids at the macstore who think theyre hip & indie... Just to have it f--k up a week later again.

Mac hardware is decent (KB, Screens etc) but since migrating to PC things have just been easier. :)

  • even if it isn't a hard drive issue, send it to apple...

  • wright if you let it run completely out of charge it can delete everything on the macbook that might be the problem

  • ,,,everytime i open my macbook,,, ( i already done the pram reset) its till not working,,,, and until now its continuing,,,

  • Dude, i know im late but, it´s your Ram, when you put it off, the mac works, so, it´s your ram (maybe not) so.. put only one ram at one slot and test, and the another slot after, do the same with the other ram, if it not work, try with another ram and test..

    Goo luck!

  • @ViceFiori

i have the same problem and i thought you were right, cause that sounds very logical. but i'll just mention that it didn't work for me. and i have the "exact" same problem displayed here.

  • Dude, i had the same problem 4 days ago, and i just got it FIXED!

You need to first, do all the stuff they tell u to do at the apple website... check the power cord, battery, RAM..... all that bla bla bla. IF nothing of that helps, u need to take it to the apple store. I took mine, even tho it was 2 years out of warranty, and talked to the guys at the genius bar. They tested my mac and noticed my graphics chip was busted. They replaced for FREE and sent me to my place. DO THAT!!! U will get it!

  • If not how much you want for it ?

  • Its a problem with the CPU

  • I had same problem. Did you fix it or did you find problem? Thanks.

  • Also Try a new sick of RAM in the computer, From your video when you removed the RAM the computer performed Motherboard Beeps.

  • Did you try a PRAM reset and a SMC reset?

  • @RaverAmbitions How can he do that when it wont even start. Obviously it has to do with a power issue or your ram. Troubleshoot your ram one at a time to c if it turns on.

  • @flipinfin

i said that 2 months ago... way to go ._.

  • I had this same exact problem and found the craziest way to fix it. hold down the power button and shake the computer violently. this is not a joke. i'm even posting this on the computer that failed.

  • it's the logic board issue. I just have mine fixed.

  • @sackest Hey, does apple did that for free?

  • send it to apple to replace the hard drive because it crashed i had that problem

  • @iPwnchChickens Hey, it is not a HD issue in my case. I got all my data from that with no problem.

  • @iPwnchChickens how much did u pay to replace the hardrive? cause i have the same problem

  • my laptop model is a1260

  • hey buddyes.

apple in spain didnt supported this issue with the warranty so they have to change all the logic board for around 600 euro.

    thats the shit

  • exactly same problem.

    check my videos

  • Hey JoHaNNeiiM. Yeah absolutely same problem. I got my second laptop so this one is waiting for a good days now. :) If you have any luck with repairing yours, please whisper us too ;)

  • @00MrAngel00 ILL BUY IT FOR 200 IF YOU WANNA SELL IT I COULD USE IT FOR PARTS

  • Have you fixed this yet?? I have the exact same problem with my MBP. Its also about a year and 5 months.

  • Hi,

Nop, no luck. My local apple tehnician said it is not possible to run test application on that mac, so they could test video card.

I tried to contact with the apple directly, but nobody reply.

  • Comment removed

  • that is an old macbook bro

  • Not so old, 1 year and 4 months

  • Hey Mr!,

I just replied to your question on apple. I had exactly same problem and gone through all your experiments.

It is to do with faulty N Vidia graphics card. Apple will replace it for free even though you it is not under guarantee period.

  • Hi

    1rightturn,

I got my Mac back. And they said it could not be tested and they won't take it for free repair. Not sure what I should do next.

  • If the problem would have been like mine, they would replace. You could tell them my case and request them to cross check...

  • I think it's time for an upgrade....

  • Yeah, but definitely not to the Apple one :) 3500$ brick after an year and two months - no way :D
