People play roller hockey because they cant afford ice hockey. In the south its the only way to play unless you want to pay 1,000 bucks for a season. These players dont have their moms paying for all their stuff. Its the closest to real hockey they can get. So all you guys who think your so tuff because you play ice are fags. That was not a collision at all. You can see the guy cross the red line with the puck and the hitter lined him up. You can see see his elbow come up when he made the hit.

@A1RPR1C3 I don't know, I think it depends on where you play and at what level. Most inline leagues esp. at the younger level clearly say on the rules when you sign up that theres no checking allowed, but every league I played in back in highschool never enforced it. The refs would pretty much just let you play. Nowhere near as much hitting as in ice hockey but you could play the body on the puck carrier as long as you didn't get any elbows or sticks up, or stick a knee out like this jackass.

I think the vast majority of roller hockey leagues on the registration form will specifically say no checking or no contact allowed, it's all a matter of whether or not they choose to enforce it. In my experience they did let you go all out along the boards pretty much but open "ice" hits they would sometimes call esp. if you really laid someone out.

It just depends on who your playing with.. some like it more realistic and some just like to skate around and have fun.. but that was a lil shady
