Was recommended Persona, and really wanted to play it, but I don't know if I even have the right system.

But is the series dependent off the predecessors?

Each game in the series is independent but only a few minor characters return each game (Igor is one of them)

it doesnt matter what game you play first since they do not connect in anyway

I'd definitely get the PS3 before I'd get an XBOX 360, since it has the second most amount of games I'm loyal to. The only problem is, I'd be getting it late, since it's approaching the end of its life expectancy. Sony intended it to have a 10 year life span, and they did confirm that there hasn't even been a game for it that challenges its graphical capabilities yet. But the only reason they have to release the ps4, is because of sales, and others are releasing early @_@

@SyfeKS And when I say soon, possibley within mid of this year, or near the end. I think it might be too late though, I'd actually rather get the newest gen if they're coming out soon. It'd be worth the wait if they come out in 2013

...as for systems. you need a PSP (P1,P2:IS,P3) PS2 (P3:FES, P4) to play any of the persona games

there is a Vita port of this game coming out some time later this year

I miss the ability to send your party members to look around for the exit and other things. They should have kept that ability in this game it would have made it so much easier when going through the dungeon again.
