@vincentrich she wasn't a female wrestler, she was a wrestler....... period. she was taking on the men in the business and was very popular like steve austin and the rock. i don't think the trish stratus look would've hurt her at all, trish wasn't having matches with some of the top male wrestlers at the time chyna was, its always trish having a match with some other chick and not a guy. chyna was popular b.c she could take on the men there and win i don't think trish stratus rise did anything.

I wish they'd done an MTV True Life with the Hardys and Lita. I would've loved to see how Team Xtreme or Edge and Christian handled their sudden fame, especially Lita, because she came in as a valet and was easily the most popular female competitor in 2000-2001, getting billed on posters with the Rock and SCA to promote events. I can't even imagine what that was like, since she'd only been wrestling for 2 years at that point!

From what research ive done Chynas career began to go downhill when she tried to get the same deal as HHH. At the the time the three biggest contracts were Austin, Rock and HHH but chyna wanted to be up there as well. After the Playboy shoot she thought she didn't need WWE anymore and left, the whole Stephanie thing didn't help but by that time her and HH were having problems anyway due to his increased popularity and workload

I met HHH and Chyna at diner in Manhatten Beach about the time this was filmed... I may have been one of the 1AM drunks Chyna referred to. HHH was cordial but did not want to be bothered. But Chyna could not have been more friendly and gracious.... she stuck me as very smart, well grounded and a total sweatheart of a girl (albeit a sweatheart that could kick my ass for real).

I have never met a nicer, down to earth celeb. I would have loved to be her friend and wish her total happiness.

She went through alot before him, and i think him backstabbing her like that was the last straw, then her and sean were happy for a little while before getting into drugs and drinking and that just made her fall apart. luckily she seems to be getting her life back together. She's gone through alot, not just the hhh stuff.
