But Lin2log, other than the physical size of the phone, I have a feeling that most of the issues (even stylus based ones) can be address by some good software... I'm curious to see how android might be able to transform this hardware, and I think that might be answered soon.

I think the OpenMoko was meant to be used with a stylus. In terms of my area of interest, blindness technology, this pressure sensitive screen and stylus are what we could build a screen reader interface around. We have access to Pocket PCs on the market and the screen reader takes all four corners of the touch screen, and assigns them to virtual keys. This would be impossible to do on the iPhone, making development of a screen reader difficult, if not impossible.
oh, and by the way... the Moko screen is SMALLER and having to use a stylus is just plain EIGHTIES, sorry. Like Apple, if you make a completely new product, then why avoid IMPROVEMENTS?? A stylus is a major step BACK.
