I couldn't agree more. I have practiced law for 16 years, but Boies's 1998 cross examination of James Allchin in the Microsoft trial is still etched in my memory as one of the greatest I've ever seen or read. I was lucky enough to be in the courtroom that day to see it. Boies was ultra prepared, his logic inescapable. It was over before it started. No matter how carefully Allchin thought about his answers before giving them -- and he thought very hard -- his destiny was to get incinerated.
