Remember that the saber Graham is using was stolen from one of the Gundam Thrones. It's specially designed to cut even Gundam Armor like butter and is much more powerful than the beam sabers normal MS use.
That's why in the english SUB, you can see Setsuna mutter in surprise when he sees it. "Beam Saber!?".
Apparantly Beam Sabers are very rare in the world of Gundam-00, and this is exactly why.
that beam Saber was able to cut Exia so easily because it's plugged Directly into the GN Drive, normally they either use a seperate battery that charges while plugged in or in the case of Seed suits it gets it power from a socket in the arm

the dub is actully rank A, they match the characters, they show alot of emotion, and i can understand them unlike the japanese version(which is still good) didnt give it their all on some characters like Ali and Patrick(his voice needs to be like someone you wanna punch just by listening to his voice)

You might as well buy them since episodes 1 to 9 are getting released on DVD June 16. The normal edition costs between 30 and 40 USD and the special edition with 2 manga should cost between 40 and 50 USD. Not a bad price for what you get.
I might wait for the European version though since it's supposedly to come with a 12 centimeters high figure.

well im watching it dubbed so im only at episode 6 so far so i cant really compare graham acre and mr bushido yet
and really most people i spoke to think graham is amazing
i one of only three worthy char clones
1) graham acre 2) zechs 3) harry orb
but nothing beat the original product xD

yeah ali is one of those characters u have to despise he is a amazing pilot and a pretty interesting if not cool character but OMG u hate his guts for what he does e.g killing saji's sister and how he killed johann and killing lockon!!!!! :'(
but yeah graham acre is the bomb he was able to equal a gundam in a mass produced mobile suit with no modifications
and the when his flag got customized he nearly beat lockon and setsuna and actual beat johhan

he is from TURN A gundam he is part of the diana counter royal guard
and pilots a gold SUMO and kicks major ass the is like the only person to damage the TURN A while not piloting a gundam himself
but you should watch the series i highly recommend it

yeah i understand where your coming from i was like that and i will admit i like dubbed more cos its easier to understand the emotion expressed by the characters and that stuff
but seriously some series are to good to miss and TURN A is one of them id recommend ZZ gundam as well but that only if you've seen zeta gundam

well on the off chance the dub haters get their wishes and all anime is subbed or raw there needs to be someone that will raise hell. And I actually never got to see all of the first gundam series so itsa next on my list after 00.

all the original gundam universe series have been dubbed apart from ZZ gundam and victory gundam but you dont have to worry about them unless you watched the others

yeah but this site had EVERY gundam series which was great so i didnt have to spend ages looking for different sites but now only wing gundam is left so im gonna have to search for every other series all over again

IFf you don't like dubs dont fecking watch them...geez, u dont have to whine. Also authentic? Considering that like one of these characters is actually japanese...and the rest aren't i'd call bullshit on the authentic BS.
Maybe some people prefer dubs because they don't like reading their show, they like watching it...wow wanting to watch a television show instead of reading it is so messed up, i mean that'd be like not wanting to listen to a book and instead reading it...nuts right?

They really need to stop recycling voice actors... It's annoying, and Setsuna is showing way to much emotion I think... Yep, the dubs sucks v.v But I do like Lockon's voice ^.^

i like the fact that they recycle VA's it makes me wonder that if a gundam mash up game comes to the US will it be funny if two pilots with the same VA fight
the dub is actully rank A, they match the characters, they show alot of emotion, and i can understand them unlike the japanese version(which is still good) didnt give it their all on some characters like Ali and Patrick(his voice needs to be like someone you wanna punch just by listening to his voice)

Agreed. This dub is better than most of the shitty dub around, Like Naruto or Gurren Lagann. Infact, anything made by Sunrise is good, even Inuyasha(despite how I despise Kagome).

You might as well buy them since episodes 1 to 9 are getting released on DVD June 16. The normal edition costs between 30 and 40 USD and the special edition with 2 manga should cost between 40 and 50 USD. Not a bad price for what you get.
I might wait for the European version though since it's supposedly to come with a 12 centimeters high figure.
