I did a lot of research and ultimately decided to go with the Omega VRT350. It's a self-feeding masticating juicer, and runs at a slow 80 RPMs. This is very good, as it incorporates much less air which means less oxidation. And that means I get a healthier, more nutritious juice. I even made coconut milk with it! It's a wonderful machine. Do your own research - you'll see.

I have had my Breville Juice Fountain for years and absolutely love it! It love how it just leaves the very dry pulp behind. It leaves me satisfied I'm getting the most out of the fruit.

Bought the Breville BJE510XL multi-speed. This thing can juice a teddy bear. Has a passing gear, to get around those stubborn slower to juice veggies. It's been over a week and still working strong. In 7 days I went from 206 to 196 pounds. Thanks Joe, thanks Phil.

I'm on day 20 of a 60 day juice fast. I'm down 20 lbs from 300 to 280. Still want some burger and fries, but I find if you have your mind set, you can do anything. I really appreciate Joe for showing the mainstream that this is healthy, and gives amazing results.

I use the Omega VRT-350HD. It's a fantastic juicer but slower than the centrifugal ejection type such as the Breville. I can prep, juice for a day, fill my mason jars, clean the juicer and the kitchen in about 1 hour.

I once had the centrifugal juicer and it produces a wetter pulp extracting less juice and also there is less separation in your juice.

I am on day 25 of my juice fast and love the Breville juicer. I have had no issues with it using it daily for 25 days. I am down over 30 pounds. I have some videos on my channel if you want to take a look.

Sadly, my breville broke the second day I had it. It just quit working! I sent it back and went with my green star (in my closet for two years) which is considerably more of a pain in the butt...but I know it works and will work in the future. However, If I didn't already have my greenstar, I would have kept trying breville's until one worked. It is vastly easier to operate. I will say that I get more juice out of my green star thou and use only 1/2 the produce of the breville.

This morning makes it day 26 for me! I purchased a Breville juice fountain elite... literally about ten minutes after seeing the film! Been working great! Down 25 lbs! I've been keeping a video blog as well, if anyone's interested in watching another fat guy try to get into shape. haha!

Great to see you doing so many updates, it very important to keep everyone motivated, I love my juicer the Breville was my first real juicer, I did 65 days this summer, check out my videos!

My husband and I have been in the "prep" stage for a couple of weeks (juicing plus raw foods)...ready to start the full-fledged juice fast next week. We've had our Breville juice fountain elite for two weeks now and it serves us well. We got ours from QVC because they had it on flex pay (5 "easy" payments) although it seems to not be available there now.

Also had the same issue as @michaelait where the feed tube came in contact with the blade, but so far the blade seems unharmed.

Day 45. Into the second week, we went to Perth (Western Australia) and when we arrived at the self catering cottage in Fremantle, realised we had left the juicer at home and had to buy one! Have used many different models of juicers over the years and had settled on one particular brand but we decided (because Joe used one in the movie!) to try the Breville and I'm so glad we did. It looks fantastic, is easy to clean and assemble, is resistant to stains and makes divine juices.

My Breville juicer died within 3 weeks of using it. I took it back to Bed, Bath and Beyond and they had no more and didn't think they could get another one. So we are just left out in the cold. Am a little frustrated with that. My husband, who is 160 lbs overweight, lost 18 lbs his first week and is losing very well and is happy about it. The whole juicer thing threw us off a little. Wish Breville had more juicers, we can't get one here in Orlando, Florida!

Julie my breville died the second day. I had a green star in my closet but it is harder to use. But the quality I think may be superior. You can get greenstar's (or green power) on ebay for half price because people get juicers all the time and do not use them.

I have the Juice Fountain Elite. It's great. However, much to my shock, I managed to mangle a blade and strain basket. I must have place the top on half-assed and the feed tube came in contact with the spinning blade and made quite a loud noise and the blade was shot. I ordered a new one and back in business. Other then that it is a wonderful, health inducing machine. I love the fact that I can place pineapple in with the skin on and still get wonderful juice with no off taste.

I love my Breville iKon multi-speed juice fountain (BJE510XL). Bought it the day after watching Fat, Sick, & Nearly Dead. I did a 7 day reboot about 3-1/2 weeks ago and have have been juicing and eating mainly healthy raw veg since. I'm down 31 lbs, and two belt notches. I FEEL GREAT! More active, energetic, and I feel healthy. My goal is to lose 30 more pounds before my October physical - my doc won't believe it. Like defibdave, I had the juicer collecting dust at home when I went to see the movie. And there was my juicer! Star of the show! I cranked it up and juiced for three weeks and lost more than 20 pounds. For me, the hardest part about juicing was the cleanup. I was not hungry. Just busy. That was in May. We decided to purchase the Ikon because of funding and I am really happy to have made my choice. I LOVE my Breville. I love my Breville BJE200XL 700-Watt Compact Juice Fountain! Does a great job - tempted to upgrade to one that ejects the pulp though so I don't have to stop mid-juice to clean it out.
